As a drummer, I can agree. Song is difficult cause the rhythm doesn't follow the structure the drums lay out, instead, the drums is nothing more than the compliment to the intense remix.

First time I played GPS it was hell. I spent well over 20k credits just to beat it. I wasn't using motion controls at the time and was new to Splatoon all together. After a solid year of playing, I went back and destroyed those fricken octo girls! Payback was so sweet!
Unfortunately, I can't say the same for Inner Agent 3. Even now, it still takes me between 10 to 20+ times to beat him/her

Splattack Octo is hard to drum to, I suspect, for the same reason that all those "but every other beat..." videos are. It takes a relatively simple song and then scrambles the heck out of it.
Splatoon is proof video game music is/can be real music and don't need to use the same music genre the entire soundtrack.
This song is painful to get a Perfect on in the rhythm game in the Plaza. Glad Jerod's keeping up with it well(?)!

I gotta say knowing sticking rudiments it’s really useful and playing this song it’s really hard to Singlestroke everything evenly and nail the double single kick every time, unless you have a double kick drum then your life’s a little easier

I think you and I have different definitions of "swing." This song is really _syncopated,_ and stuff happens all over the beat, but it's not based around triplets like swing-time is.

So if there were a track i wanted to suggest where would you because theres this new song by Senchou of HL called Ahoy!! and from what i hear it has a pretty neat drum section and is only like 1:30 but mainly it sounded like itd be fun i could be wrong tho maybe i thought it was drums and was something else
