Some FACTS:
If the Sims 4 was laggy as hell, no one would play it.
The Sims 3 WAS laggy as hell, and people not ONLY play it to this day, but say it was one of the best games they've ever played.

I hope we get 64-bit Sims 3 for PC.
If we do, the lag will probably be reduced for many players since the game will no longer be limited to 4GB of RAM.

Sims 4 lags because of all the cc and mods needed to make it even comparable to TS3, so I no longer play it lol

ikr?! I hate the loading screen in sims 4, and i have tons of mods and cc so the loading screen takes even longer
right?! and not only do you have a loading screen you can only control the person that you make leave. Like let's say you have a household of 3 if you make 1 person leave you can only control that 1 person unless you switch control over to the other people. also whenever I play, if I send one person out and leave the other 2 in their house any tasks I had them start before i had the other person leave would be canceled and they start doing random shit that i never had them start
it would be okay if you had a loading screen only when you left the neighbourhood, but you have to go through one to literally go to your neighbours house??!! so frustrating smh...

Not to mention that the sims 4 supernaturals are all in separate $40 packs. Sims 3 gave you all and more for the same price.

letâs be clear, none of the packs were bad but generations, supernatural, seasons, pets, and university were all MUST haves for me. those and the incredibly underrated world adventures! breaks my heart how often people forget about that one :((

honestly, I played the sims when I was 12 (I'm 18 now) and only had two expansion packs which were Seasons and Late Night, those were such good times all though it took 30 minutes to save a game I DID NOT CARE. the sims 3 had so much dept and gameplay, I think I would've loved Generations and Into The Future or Supernatural
I also only had 2 expansion packs-- supernatural and generations. They were SO GOOD. I think I had over a thousand hours on that game

Back then 2 Sims 3 expansion packs would let me feel satisfied for years and now not even all of the Sims 4 expansion packs together make me feel any content. It's so sad to be honest.

I remember being utterly astounded by the sims 3 old man going outside trailer, and the concept of being able to visit community lots and be at home and it was great
We can talk about how ambitions came with a butt load of new careers, the consignment shop AS WELL as a new world while Get To Work only came with three careers, shops, and 4 lots in a neighborhood no one touches...
Ambitions came with 1 new world, 3 new skills, 5 professions, 1 new career and change to 1 old career, self employment, 8 lifetime wishes, 9 lifetime rewards, 6 new traits, 1 new death, earthquakes, bake sells, consignment shops, junkyards, laundry, simbots, and motorcycles. Get to work doesn't even come close to comparing.
You know I JUST realized why I always feel like "Why does everyone gush over Generations in Sims 3?" but I JUST realized... I came into Sims 3 a few packs in and Generations was one of the packs I got WITH my game. So I never played the Sims 3 without Generations. I didn't know what it was like without it.

I remember when back in the day I only had supernatural as an expansion pack for the sims 3. It still was able to keep me entertained and occupied for hours (now I have all of the expansion packs and I love how lively my sims worlds are and I can pretty much do everything I want)
Yes, that was the intro of an open world. And I loved it. I still miss it. Telling your sim to go for a jog, and they actually did. Not having to load just to visit a neighbor.
But man, the expansion I really ended up loving a lot was the Into The Future Expansion. And the Pets expansion. Also World Adventures, cause I'm a weeaboo and I loved being able to learn karate.

Oh my god I also brought my laptop to my friend so we could both sit there in silence and play sims together xD and I LOVED the World Adventure Pack so MUCH!! Exploring all the tombs was amazing!!!
My sims 3 used to lag and crash sometimes, so I needed to constantly save it in case the game crashed, otherwise I would loose all the progress I made that day
It was frustrating, but it was never enough to stop me from playing! I loved that game and now I want to play it again so bad!
Late Night was my favorite Sims 3 pack, Bridgeport was my favorite town, although the town from Ambitions was good too! I really miss being able to recolor objects đ

This is why I still play Sims 3. Although itâs really mainly the horses.
I started with the sims 1 (mum had it sitting in a cupboard which I had stumbled upon at a young age) and then when the sims 4 came out I gave that a try, I knew sims 3 existed but never gave it a shot until I played sims 4 for a year or two and two this day I prefer sims 3 over the sims 4.
I never really had a lot of problems running my sims 3 game. Even after I had all of the expansions which I of course always had all of them running it wasn't ever that bad
I play Sims 3 all the time, so all this stuff is fresh in my mind. Like, I knew that that first trailer that played was not the first one because it has Daylight by Matt and Kim in the background, and the Simlish version of that song came with Sims 3 World Adventures. Speaking of Simlish songs, the Sims 3 ones are TOP TIER. Double Vision by 3OH3 is one of my favorites. Animal by Neon Trees, Shark in the Water, Speakers Going Hammer, , Time Bomb (played in one of the Generations trailers I think). Bangers. There's always so much to do and see in TS3, so many careers and gameplay parts I always wanna try next. Like, I did not get enough of the horses or some of the Ambitions professions.
Island paradise and university were my absolute favorites. Can we PLEAAASEEE get a sims 3 let's play?
