Chris~ cool video. Thanks. Question: Did you put the transducer on incorrectly and then switch it off camera? There’s no way you can go to landscape the way you did from the way you initially put it on. Thanks
@@jasonclark625 But that has nothing to do with the Mega 360. The recommendation was "And if you run Mega 360 like I do..." I understand the benefit of networking the live, but don't understand what the mega 360 has to do with it.
@@jasonclark625 Correct. I run both the 360 and Mega live on my single Helix 8. According to his recommendation, I should install a network switch, even though I'm only using a single unit, simply because I'm running both the 360 and the live. That is how he worded his recommendation. He doesn't mention anything about multiple head units, which is why I ask.
So let me get this clear. I can run it through my network box and get Mega Live on all my helix units? If this is true I’m sold, people keep telling me it has to be hooked directly to a head unit.
Just got mine and some screws are missing. No local hardware store has them. You pay so much money for this things and they can’t get it right. Ridiculous!
Does the unit come with the ethernet dongle?

Did u run power to a fuse box or to the battery?
Great Video. It does exist. I'm sold where can I buy one.
No power?
So do you really need the fuse with the helix if you run it right to the sonar?
How about mounting it on a Ulterra?
I think there are no options to mount this transducer on Ulterra or Terrova.
I think it's possible to mount also those. Why wouldn't?
@@kuhadekuvertsuttaa How? Imposible to mount on shaft, wich is sliding through gearbox.
Cornfield crappie company makes hardware to mount to Ulterra
Why run it to the network box when using a mega 360? 3:25
Good question Joshua B?
Cause u would be able to see the live on all your units that are hooked to the box

But people hook the 360 up to it so it can run to all units

I think that you can share it to every unit. At least on solix or apex
Yes. It only connects via ethernet
Worthless, what about hooking up power?
