Randy Sloan There are so many high paying jobs up here. Make sure you negotiate your terms before accepting offer. Free room and board is very common, if they offer percentage of load, don’t take less than 25%. Look at their equipment, lots of equipment up here is in rough shape. With 30 years of experience, you will do great. You can ask me any questions you have. Subscribe to my channel if you have not. Let me know names of companies and locations in North Dakota you are looking at.
Don’t have a particular one. Just know some. I will have truck on road soon and will be looking for a driver. I’m going to train person I hire. It will be a bit though.
Ok I have a lot of questions. Do I need to invest in fr stuff? Is it possible to get a job before I head up there? I’ll be looking for a company that does provide housing. I’ve looked at noble, jericho services and g style do far.
Does the company you work for provide housing? I just left WTX/SENM, 1. The work was slow, one load per day (frac sand). 2. I hated living in a truck, it was like a jail sentence.
Nemo Express Yes, most companies up here provide housing. Still lots of places hiring up here. I see sand truck working everywhere here. What state are you wanting to work in?
@@northdakotadriver5714 I hauled water in STX in 2014 and then again in 2016. Thought I'd try sand, so I did that in WTX, but it's not very steady, to much sitting and not getting paid. I usually look for housing provided jobs but this last time I tried living in the truck. My lower back still hurts from just laying around in the bunk waiting for a load. I'm thinking about water hauling in ND. Which is worse, -40* or 110*? 🤔
Thank you soooooooooooo so much for these videos
My pleasure! Thanks for watching.
Another great video bro!
Thanks my friend! It will probably be a couple of weeks before I post another one. I’m at home with family for Christmas.
newbie here with zero experience living in florida,no family, no gf, all alone. Just got my CDL , Do you recommend to move ND to start trucking?
ogulubora I highly recommend North Dakota or Texas. Pay is much higher here in North Dakota.
Can I get a job up in nd with no experience and no cdl ?
BAM HAMMER There are jobs up here that will train you. You cannot haul water or oil, but lots of oilfield work. Most pay is 21 to 30 bucks an hour.

Nemo Express The pay is definitely better here. Winter is almost over. Much better cooler than hotter. 😊
