Hi Great to see a new reaction to Lucy. Lucy has been singing since she was 7.Given a recording contract a 14 and now at 20 has released 6 Albums to date Lucy can sing any genre .She is starring in a musical written for her by award winning songwriter Chris Broom Chris also owns Cavendish Records the label Lucy is under, Due to Open In London early next year. Lucy has covered most of the Divas and made their songs hers. This is an old Iconic song and was always my favourite sung by Bobby Hatfield until now .Now Lucy owns it. Lucy has a beautiful controlled voice imo. the Best female vocalist out there today. and still so young. Lucy is our Northern Nightingale .Thanks for supporting Lucy

Glad that you reacted to this one, Zach. Her voice is so pure and as you pointed out, her transitions are superb - smooth as silk. Her lower register is probably the best I have ever heard with amazing tone. There are around 70 videos to catch up with, some from when she was 13/14 years old and some duets with her sister Martha, who is almost 6 years younger than Lucy but amazing in her own right and a great harmoniser. Go down the Lucy Thomas rabbit hole and you will attract a lot of her followers to your channel, so win/win. Her cover of the Whitney Houston song, Run to You, is one of my favourites and shows great emotion and All By Myself is also outstanding. Too many to choose.

Her vocal skills are just elite, voice control, breath control, richness of tone - she has easy elegant power. Just a stunningly beautiful and unique voice. To become a fan is to listen to her sing once. Have always loved this song - Bobby Hatfield just rocked this thing - somehow - somehow - this is my new favorite version of the song. Yes Lucy is phenomenal,a stunning vocalist& a beautiful human being in every sense,so glad to have found her several years ago!, i think the next 12 months will be a magical time for her with a concert in Tokyo due in September & the musical 'Rosie' due to open in the first part of next year in which she will be the star performer!😊

A thoughtful reaction to this great young singer and yes, you can say she's pretty. Her voice is now instantly recognisable by millions now and your right she's definitely not a Christina Aguilera. You may get a little vocal imbellishment but without all the unnecessary vocal gymnastics. Lucy at twenty has become a vocal genius -- just ask the various voice coaches who've reacted to songs past and present. Can she get any better??.
Hi, Zack. great review. I to hear that little bit of country in her voice. Lucy is just plan fantastic. I have followed her for about 3 yrs now. We are witnessing the making of a super star. So jump upon the Lucy Thomas train. She has so many wonderful recordings and she is just a very humble person. My suggestion is try the Barbra Streisand hit “Everygreen”. Please stay safe, healthy, and free.
Great reaction. Nothing Lucy does is accidental. It's all thought trough and given the love and care it needs with no badly chosen ugly gymnastics. It all looks easy but she worked her ass off from when she was 7. She also sings them in the accent she thinks the song needs. Lovely modest person and the best vocalist in the world imo.

Loved your reaction, and your analysis and the things you catch are so solid. What an incredible cover of this huge classic. It's hard to find someone who can stand and deliver on this song, especially when you have that original hovering overhead, but Lucy does it. All props to the Righteous Brothers (who I'm sure would love this cover of their baby as well), but Lucy just delivered a winner. Most beautiful voice on earth.

I have always felt that she could be a phenomenal country singer. Then she sang Aerosmith and I thought she could sing rock songs. Then she sang Barbra and I thought she could sing on stage or in movies. Then she sings with Martha and I thought she could sing in Cathedrals. Then I thought she can sing anything anyplace anywhere anytime.👍🌹❤️

Lucy is from a Town called Wigan in the North West of England. She has been singing since she sung an impromptu song to her grandmother at a birthday party at the age of 7. Lucy has a sister called Martha, who joins with Lucy every so often and their duets are out of this world. Martha is 5 years and 8 months younger than Lucy. Despite being a very good vocalist in her own right, Martha only sings as a hobby. Martha has said that she will not be pursuing a musical career, as Martha's passion is riding and equestrian sports.

Lucy is from the north of England and has what in the Uk is a Lancashire accent. If you listen her sing ,We can change the world rom her Manchester live concert you can hear her accent .
I'm pretty sure God lent Lucy to us to brighten up our lives.
Thanks for the react and yes Lucy just sings the way it is suppose to be sung, she does not have to do all the vocal and set gymnastics to detract from the singing, Lucy flat out sings !!! Lucy is known for her clear clean pronounciation, her vibrado, her holding her note, her power and her range, with the most beautiful voice. and when she speaks she has the strong British accent, thanks for the react you have just seen her latest song, she has 4 videos out from her live public concert, SOMEWHERE, AT LAST, WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD and he encore of HALLELUJAH that she brought the house down with !!! Zack, you're right - Lucy does have a slight southern or country sound to her voice, and many have commented on that. Overall, she sings with an American accent and many think she is, but she's from northeast England and, when speaking, has a regional British accent.
