Does this 3-team trade proposal w/ Darius Garland & Brandon Ingram make sense for the Cavaliers?

- The Cleveland Cavaliers have remained pretty steadfast in not wanting to trade Darius Garland, although that may be more due to the fact that his value isn't exactly at an all-time high.
But if the Cavaliers can move Garland and acquire someone like, say, Brandon Ingram in the deal, would they be more open to jettisoning Garland?
John Hollinger of The Athletic has proposed a wild three-team traded involving Cleveland, the New Orleans Pelicans and Orlando Magic in which the Cavs would land Ingram and Cole Anthony while shipping out Garland and Caris LeVert.
Keep in mind, this is not a rumor or anything that the Cavaliers have seriously discussed (at least not that we know of). Hollinger specifically states that this is a "fake trade" idea that he concocted.
That being said, Cleveland was mentioned as a potential destination for Ingram earlier this offseason, but the Cavs apparently balked at Ingram's max extension demands (the former All-Star is currently slated to hit free agency next summer) www.si.com/nba/cavaliers/news...

He was hurt in the Playoffs last year. Check him out against the Suns in the playoffs 3 years ago.

I think the Magic say no. They have a young 6'7" point guard in Anthony Black developing and seem to believe in Jalen Suggs who is an excellent defender. They would give up their starting big which leaves a hole in the middle. Goga hasn't shown enough consistently to just take it. They seem invested in Jett's development.

What they are not saying about BIis that he was just coming off of a knee bruise where he bumped knee with another player. Which is something that could happen to any player. It takes a lil time to knock off the rust
They shouldn't waste time talking about a 3-team trade possibility as it's never gonna happen. There is a bunch of other potential 2 team trades that could fill the air time. Plus BI had only played over 65 games once in his career hell no.

@@Fog_raw it’s amazing how herd mentality prevents people from understanding the value of buying low on the perfect piece to solve the Cavs 3 biggest problems, size, scoring and players playing out of position. BI for DG is not only a good idea it’s a 100% no brainer. Both DG and BI’s value is low right now so it’s balanced out, but BI is the perfect offseason for Cavs and moving garland . We will be a legit contender next year.

@@Fog_raw oh that’s odd, perhaps you forget the bucks moved Jrue Holiday to Portland for picks knowing he would be moved after drafting Scoot Henderson and the Celtics had shown interest before the move to Portland. Jrue then was moved to Boston who was Milwaukees top threat in the heat. Or perhaps you forgot the trade where Toronto moved OG to NY for IQ and RJ to make both teams better. So to suggest there is no precedent for this isn’t just ignorant and naive, it’s fundamentally false. Any time a trade is made, opportunity costs will be weighed but competitors don’t blacklist trade deals with a broad brush stroke because they are competition for that team. Ultimately, if you are a contender, all top teams are competitors and by your logic no trades would happen. This is false. And you are a simpleton.

@YourWorstNightmare3333 garland was the best player on the cavs in the knicks series. He had a bad season after breaking his jaw and losing 15 lbs mid-season. He'll be much better now that they aren't running JB's high school offense anymore too.
