Thanks for the shout out! Yes, once you have a nice base of souls from the mortals, I think focusing on immortals is the way to go. Insanely way more potential out of immortals but you can still whiff on the pulls just like everything in this game.
Trying to save that many champs would require room. I don't have that much room left in any vault. They really need to give us a bit more room.
I think they may actually boost the champ vaults like they did to the Artifacts and Accessories. This new epic empowerment plus they've added lots of new champions including mythicals and there's a new faction dropping this year some time

@@user-qo3uv7hw5k I didnt necessarily hear about it all like that. Nothing for sure anyway. However if you look inside faction wars theres been a slot for another new faction since last year. They seem to drop a new faction every yr since those new slots popped up. Plus it's been quite a while since sylvan faction came along. Put all that together along with some of the speculations from content creators and its looking like this year.
Glad I've just dunked every epic into the reserve vault since my account was made. I only fed a few really early on when I didn't know about faction guardians. It was a few that the hellhades site said were trash, so not a big waste. Probably at the time worth it to get more champs to 60 early.
Me too man, I have so much epics that I just saved into the vaults. Just didn’t feel right feeding them after I fed my first ever epic Snorting Thug
@@MCNiiCKsoSiiCK Still can't really say I regret fusing those Drakes or Fearmongers. Honestly not sure if I'd even want them as faction guardians. Literally a waste of 2 spaces. I'd rather have an epic in there that I build at least one of (or at one point could potentially build).
Ever since Paylarium brought out empowerment for legendries, I have kept every epic I've pulled since then because it was a no brainer that they would have to do the same with epics to keep the game with some semblance of relevancy. I have 546 epics filled to the brim in both vaults and my backpack, so I'm more than ready for the empowerment when it drops, and I'll finally have space to store all my real food champs. Well, I guess I'll keep the 9 Coldheart's too that was ready to be fed as rare champs are next on the menu lol.

@@cacophonic7 Yeah, and look out for my +4 Tolf lol. I'm not sure I'll actually have that many +4's though as I fully expect that Paylarium won't do a 1 to 1 upgrade as they do with legendries. They never play nice, with great sounding marketizing that always comes with a sting in the tail. So I expect it to be a 4 to 1 ratio seeing how grubby, and greedy they are. If we are really lucky though, it will only be 2 to 1 but I'm not holding my breath on that tbf.
Love how the people who sarcastically call them "Payrium" or something like are always the ones that are actually paying because they don't know how to manage ressources at all or do anything without spending. l2p xD
@@Stricksocke It's Paylarium, not Payrium, and I buy the monthly gem pack, occasionally the mini mix when on sale and that's it. I do so, so I can do more if I want to, or if I want to have a life, I'll use the gems to buy masteries sometimes instead. I manage my resources so well, I'll have all my usable epics fully empowered when it drops, so yeah you're right, we who sarcastically call them Paylarium don't know how to manage anything at all lmao

On lizardmen there's Jizoh, great as Mischief tank on early and midgame accounts and pretty easy to build, empowering him could be interesting
I'm late game-ish and Genbo is still one of my my main DPS in my speed team. Would love to be able to empower him.
Got a few champs I can go ahead and empower immediately when this goes live.
Note to Plarium: We need a couple more options for sorting champions. I want to sort by rank but with empowerment and awakenings, there is no order to it anymore. And I can now search by name, which is super nice, but I don't always remember the champions name.
Nubs, do you still use Stag Knight? Where? Would empowerment make him useful somewhere he's not useful now? Thanks.

Nice vid, Nub. Re Maneater. Empowering is going to add up to +15 speed, which can wreck some Clan Boss speed-tune builds...
nubs do you think that when epic empowerment comes into the game would it mean the the unbinding would work for not only legendries but epics to making the token trader useful for people who haven't gotten those champions?

No, since they didn't say it explicitly I think the safe assumption is it won't happen. Token trader still forgotten content 😂

@@MrIndman I don’t think it would be to unbalanced look at the legos minya is only really good with her partner maulie is good for hydra foli has been out of meta for a while fu Shan is still best clan boss Damage and aura lead sir Nicholas has been out of meta for a while and Tomb lord is still good at fire knight only three legos are still good in that roster plus it would fall onto them to say hey your not getting as much as you get for a Lego but you still get something and it takes longer to do

Double Akemtum, a poisoner popper, and a resetter + a fifth is a good Hard Spider team.
Stock up now, because you know the drop rates for the good Epics will drop like a stone after this empowerment is added to the game.
Definitely. They are already hard enough to get now. I may never see a Geo or Godseeker (or Maneater/Demytha) if the rates drop even more.
I hope the bonus stats are the same, considering usually epics have lower base stats legos will still be more powerfull with the empowerment
Problem with faction guardians is that they take vault space. I've been keeping a few, but mostly just rotating in and out of FG - letting food sit there for a while.
A bigger question for me is whether to use as food/books or empowerment.
I'd say to keep them for empowerment since it's much harder to get copies of a certain champion than it is to get Epic books, since between daily regen and daily refills, you.can usually get any epic tomes in dungeon tournaments if you farm stage 20.
I've only filled a handful rare faction guardians for the rares that I use. Having a ton of rares in the vault for faction guardians that I don't use is a waste of vault space.
Empower first then books. You'll need far less for one, and you can always use epic books to drop into skill, but you can't empower them with books.
I have a pair of godseeker at 60…. I run her in hydra and clan boss too…. She’s great! Also, husk vs Royal guard in hydra…. RG is built a little better and husk almost always deals more damage, sometimes almost double the damage my RG puts out
you missed orn and he can solo ice golem and dragon normal and he definetly would make use of the defensice stats and acc. he was also a fusion i didnt do so i have a couple copies already

Dude I’m literally going crazy on the long wait to get oboro. Her souls is ready, lady mikage as well…trust me when I say “I’M GOMNA OBLITERATE THE F*CK OUT OF HYDRA” as soon as I get my hands on Oboro

Oh boy... I don't know if I like epic empowerment or not. I have at least 1 spare of every epic so I will have a decent start on things. On the other hand, I know I have fed so many good epics over the years. I know this because it usually hurts my heart to feed a godseeker or geomancer but I have done it so many times. Like I have 3 geos built, 2 spares in the vault that are muling gear and I have fed at least a half dozen... I like that pulling epics might mean something again but I am not looking forward to going through all my champions and figuring out who I want to empower, and I am not too fond of how empowerment has affected the game in reguards to legos. I am still not convinced that empowerment in general, epic or legendary, is good for the game.
I immediately got excited for epic empowerment since I don’t have a 5* Godseeker and can’t reach 271 speed in regen/immortal to farm sand devil 25. Then I quickly remembered I’ve been playing 2+ years and only pulled 1 Godseeker so it won’t help 😂

You didn't mention Pann. He's so good. Maybe being where you are in the game vs myself that's probably why he doesn't stand out. Tons of damage possible tho
Zerobrew has a pretty wild double Akemtum explosion team, other than that I don't think you'd need 2 Akemtums
For my oboro and whisper is must have +4
Delver wants to have word about not being super essential. That dec def a3 already is really good in Sintranos and extra stats will make her even better.
Main ones for me are whisper, fayne and daithi
Since filling my faction guardians, I keep 1 copy off all epics and use the rest for food. Guess I need to start saving orcs so I can +4 my seer.
I see you have all your sparring pits at level 1. I was stupid and maxed out the first one, so now my sparring piuts give uneven XP, my first 2 are maxed out and the other 3 are at 1/3. I might as well max them out so they give even XP for the future. it is 750 gems pr. pit though, but it might be worth it.

Has any info on HOW MANY EPICS IT WILL TAKE ? I think we are fooling ourselves if we think it will be 4 epics for max empowerment. I doubt Paylarryium will make it 4.
That is a really good point, I hope they don't use the same 15:1 value of Epics to Legendaries that we see with Sacred shard pulls.
I'm surprised not many people are asking this question as it was my very first thought. I'd assume they'd keep the +4 empowerment system but my guess is they'd make you use 4 epics for each +1. One, epic drop rates are obviously higher, two, Plarium will want it to drag out so they can sell more shards, and three, the we already have this 4:1 lego/epic ratio notion with fusions.

With a +4 Uugo its now way more easy to get good stats using the affinity breaker set.

I'd probably still prefer to have the good champs in the faction guardians. Long term you save space. Having two champs you don't build and just keep in the vault solely for guardians just takes up space.
Crazy how I would have been able to probably fully empower half the epics in this game if hoarding was really possible.

Relic Keeper should be the easiest one to empower because you can farm all the champs needed. You could see 4 +4 Relic Keepers on teams.

Faction guardian for epic and rare is barely useful, its just a way to give a bit of purpose to collecting them all
I have a feeling they will lower the efficiency and the max level of the empowerment for the epis. My humble guess is between 1-2% improvement per card with between 20-30% max improvement over the original. I would say Plarium will require 15-30 cards to max empower an epic. I think with legends, it is 10% increment and max around 40% with 4 cards.
it'll probably still be a +4 just mitigated stats like blessings
