    You are awesome! You are the first carnivorous person to explain those hot flashes I get at 70 is Hypoglycaemia reaction! Thank you! I’m carnivorous 4 yrs but those heat flashes have come & gone till I felt crazy. Now eating Good animal fats in quantities of 2x more than protein my body gums along while growing me younger looking & feeling. I have been diagnosed with ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS an arthritis of hell & brimstone proportions! Now there’s no signs of it except the psoriasis outbreak’s… due to my lack of willpower & clear thinking! Dam addictions require some real work to stop that ‘ pleasure seeking moments for a seriously horrible weeks long agonies! The brainwashed Mind is stunningly extremely controlling until WE TAKE CONTROL know wtf that non Carnivorous never food crap will cause!

    Very similar for me, but I will eat a very few processed items like high quality sausages and cheeses. For me:
    1. No grain/legume
    2. No flour/powderized products
    3. No seed oils
    4. No sweetener of any kind & No Juice
    I also agree with medication, for the most part. But I do take some supplements, so to be fair I didn't list that.

    Glad you mentioned your backstory of having a sweettooth for chocolate chip cookies. Currently I notice how bad my sweet tooth is and I am addicted to McD's chocolate chip cookies.
    Hearing how you gained a change in perspective after being carnivore for a while gives me inspiration to give carnivore a try again.
    So, thank you for sharing that :)

    The headache thing really resonates with me. I used to suffer regular headaches on a weekly basis and some were pretty debilitating. About 4 years ago I started Keto and then soon evolved into Carnivore. I may have had one or two very minor headaches in this time but I now live headache free and love it! Only my own N=1 experience but it seems that many others on low carb or carnivore also experience relief from headaches.

    1) Petra - To bring this into perspective - You're about 30 and at best you've got about 22000 days left. Life is too short to worry about things you can't influence nor fix. Clock's ticking...
    2) That bottle of spice you held up has 4 doses of sugar and a whole lot of industrial chemicals. Silicon dioxide is used to bond grinding discs together.
    3) You mentioned pain killers - So many people are unknowingly addicted and they are so so bad for your health. I have not taken a pain killer for many years. If and when I do have some severe acute pain I know that they will work.
    4) My absolute non-negotiables are - No seed oils (read labels), no sugars (read labels), no processed foods (no non-human food) and no carbs. The vast majority of my food does not come in a packet nor have a bar code.
    I get my sun in the first and last 2 hours of the day. I only drink clean rain water (i live in the wilderness) and I don't use computer screens within 3 hours of sleeping. Besides OMAD IF the best thing one can do is breath fresh air and be free.
    5) As for FRUIT - Think about this concept - When we were roaming around in small tribes (let's say 12 people), we came across a fruit bearing tree. What did we find ? The birds had eaten most of the fruit and the flies had made the rest go rotten. There was only perhaps 1 or 2 fruit which were able to be salvaged between the whole tribe. It is a MYTH that we are supposed to eat fruit every day or even once a week yet we have the exact same genetics as we did 2 million years ago. The same goes for nuts and seeds. We are genetically pre-disposed to eating meat.

    I’m 58, overweight with high BP and low T which I need to take meds for unfortunately. The Testosterone is by shot every other week and does make me feel better but the BP meds don’t seem to be working so well and are constantly changing. Been carnivore for only 6 days now and already starting to feel better, less bloated and less stressed out mentally anyway, both which were really bad.

    • @rebeccasmith7439

      You actually need a lot of salt. It's electrolytes.

    • @UglyZen
      @UglyZen Před rokem +3

      @Rebecca Smith there's some carnivores who don't use salt and we've adapted to not using it. I agree salt is important, but the body can adjust without, given that we're eating enough meat to obtain sodium from the meat itself and other electrolytes. It's a switch, meat tasted good with salt and when I cut salt meat didn't taste as good but now meat tastes better imo

    • @rebeccasmith7439
      @rebeccasmith7439 Před rokem +2

      @@UglyZen Thanks, was not aware that you really don't need much salt 😊

    • @UglyZen
      @UglyZen Před rokem

      @Rebecca Smith salt is important but if you're eating a fully carnivorous diet, you likely can drop salt, but expect a transition period, potential hydration issues. I used to salt to taste on a carnivore diet for a long time, I eventually got an aversion to salt from licking a salt rock like 3 months ago and have been mostly without salt. If I have any salt it's from like prosciutto or cheese potentially but I even have dropped those food as of recently and just eat meat
