This video isn't criticizing the movie, it's just giving out some extra knowledge. So people know where the real story ends and the movie fun begins. I love the film, but I'm happy to know that these parts weren't real, or else I'd want action taken against the coach.

People who do not know him.. if by chance they come across him .. they would have a negative prejudice against him. And so what if for entertainment purpose they have added a bit of spice in it?! That doesn't change the main idea of the inspiring story of those two sisters!!
Dhoni biopic was sugarcoated sure the scores were correct and the matches were in chronological order but his flaws and change in game was skipped and the film finishes at World Cup 2011 on purpose however he faced the lows in his test captaincy by getting whitewashed in two series.

ermm i saw an interview where Mahavir and Geeta both said that her dad wasn't able to watch the final from the stands because he wasn't given a special pass to be in the arena

That's why it is called a movie, a film ! And film making is an art to give u an experience of the characters, not just show the facts as they are (that job is of a News Channel).
Movies like Sachin or Dhoni made me feel I was watching Star Sports. Both were such a waste movies, although I would be a fan of those sportsmen. On other hand, I was not aware of Geeta Phogat or Mahavir Phogat. Yet I liked the movie Dangal as it projected sportsmanship n dedication in such a nice way. Hats off to the movie !

so what those scenes make the film superb.
one more thing which is shown which never happened that is, Phogat family is vegetarian.In the film it was shown that they made chicken and eat it.
In India every hindu wrestler pray to the lord Hanuman (Maruti) when they practice for wrestling. It has been never shown such a incident.
Anyways it was great movie and director, producer has right to showcase what is in there mind.
