We tried the FAMOUS BATCHOY 😋 then headed to the Emperador Brandy Museum, & Festive walk mall! Our first impression of Iloilo surprised us, we didn't Expect such a clean vibrant city.

Nice. Iloilo is my second international home other than Northern California. I haven't seen all the videos but I hope you get the chance to visit Guimaras and Gigantes. I would suggest having a guide for Gigantes Island, it's more remote Definitely do a boat tour if you make it there. Smallville can be a fun place in the evening, you may notice the city has a vibe almost every evening if you know where to go. Don't forget to get a few massages, they are so affordable!
For me Iloilo is a foodie haven! Love their seafoods so you should try if you're into it.

The decorations on the mall (small triangles in different colors) is called banderitas which also translates to small flags or flaglets.
Also ilonggos (thats how you address the locals) are known to be the kindest people in the philippines! Also ilonggos are very melodious or as they say in tagalog malambing. Even if they are angry a lot of people would not even notice because of the very soft tone of voice that they use.

@@ZoeCzar no theyre very different. Rambutan is red and very hairy. But when you open it it has a fleshy fruit and thats the one you eat and discard the seeds.
While mangosteen is a deep purplish color with very thick skin. When you open it its like an orange with white flesh and seeds. You only eat the fleshy part.
Both are sweet and very intresting fruits

Are you an Ilonggo local? I've never heard of squeezing calamansi on a batchoy and I have been eating it for more than 20 years. I think putting soy sauce and black pepper powder on batchoy is already sufficient.

Mangostine is sweet and kinda soury it is good for diabetic people. During kadayawan month of august a lot of mangostine fruit here in davao city that is the season of that fruit. It is yummy and I recommend you will surely like it. 😊

I laughed so much at the brandy tour. The first shot Czar tried he had a very unique look on his face. By the time he was having his frappe, I think he was a bit snookered 😂😂😂. I’m sure if he had a few more he would be looped. Another great and enjoyable vid from my two fav British vloggers 😁😁

I'm from Iloilo, tbh there's nothing so special there compared to other cities in the Philippines but if you want to relax, chill, relieve stress and enjoy spending free time with your love ones Iloilo is the best place for you. Clean, safe, friendly people and great food.

@@ZoeCzar The Esplanade is in the entire stretch of the Iloilo River. A 9km long linear park. Esplanade 1 though is in Diversion Road. You guys can hail a cab and just tell the driver to drop you off in Esplanade 1 in Diversion. 😅 sort of a pedestrian walkway on the riverbanks.

Other go to places in the city include the Molo plaza and church, Molo mansion, Jaro plaza and church, and Muelle Loney restaurant (preferably at night).

When in college I drink Fundador a lot. It became boring all we drink most of the time was Tanduay Rhum or Gin. So, I tried Fundador with my colleagues. Sad part I did not know it's an old product. I thought it new in the 90s. 1979 bottle that amazing.
