    Since most of this Foreigners are students, they came to the Philippines primarily to study not to travel and explore the beautiful places here as tourists, that's why when ask about their first impression about the Philippines is they have this tendency of describing the country in general based only on their immediate environment where they first arrived here, with no opportunity or time(or money) to explore the entire Philippines. Top foreign tourists who visits the Philippines comes from Asia particularly South Korea, China, Japan and U.S. Canada, Australia, Europe while India is in the lower list and most of them are not tourists, much more (no where on the list) the Africans are almost all of them came here only to study and not as tourists(unless they learn here to become a "CZcams Travel Vloggers.")😉

    Why cant they accept that our streets, environment is cleaner than their country. I mean we dont have cows roaming on the street. Our street foods are more decent in terms of preparing it, compare to them. We have oraganized traffic. 🤭 🤭 ✌️ Sorry i dont mean to be mean. Ahaha😅

    Tell them to explore more cities or places not just staying in Cebu. Some of these students are so maarte. Baka Mas pangit pa sa kanila. Look at most Indians street foods, the way they prepare foods, really poor hygiene.

    Why I am curious when most of them said that "Their families or friends" have researched this University that's whythey got to know. You guys haven't search about UST, Ateneo, DLSU, UPHD, FEU, UERM, PLM and many more that offers medicine with quality as well? I mean these universities often topped the PLE.

    • @almanalang4283
      @almanalang4283 Před rokem

    • @anonmoose2369
      @anonmoose2369 Před 11 měsíci

      they trust the referrals. Often they mention that they have heard the school from friends and family. I also noticed a trend. Africans and Indians are in Cebu. Arabs are in Manila

  • @bertcaibigan9276
    @bertcaibigan9276 Před rokem +2

    The best Medical schools in the Philippines are mostly in Manila like UP, UST, Ateneo, La Salle , UERM, FEU etc in terms of facility, curriculum and faculty. SWU medical school is good but definitely not as good as the schools I mentioned above.

    • @migsgarcia
      @migsgarcia Před rokem

      Also curious about this. How foreign students gravitate towards specific schools in Cebu (SWU, Gullas, etc.) for med school when there are other bigger/better schools in Luzon, Visayas, and even in Mindanao. Not sure if maybe it's difference in curriculum, the tuition costs, cost of living in a city, or maybe marketing efforts.

    • @bertcaibigan9276
      @bertcaibigan9276 Před rokem +1

      @@migsgarcia maybe because its very easy to get in on those Medical Schools unlike in Manila. Or those schools have specific program for foreign Medical students. I just checked the passing of SWU and Gullas in PRC physician board last March 2023, SWU has a passing of 55% while Gullas is 34%.

    • @migsgarcia
      @migsgarcia Před rokem

      @@bertcaibigan9276 maybe it’s also low since their foreign students are not allowed to take the exam here (not sure), thus only Filipino students take the exam. Yeah, maybe they really make the admission and 4-year education experience easier for foreigners to process their transition here for schooling.

    I don’t understand why some “complain” so much about what they call “shocks” while others “ complain” how hard to study. If they come to the US, maybe they complain more! As I can see, the Philippines still better (90 percent) than other countries in education, environment, people, sometimes the traffic!! Traffic is bad, but most states of the US are worse!! In the Philippines, it depends on where you go. Some places have much better. If they don’t like the heat, go to Bagiou! In the US, summer is hot and humid most of the time. In the winter, northern parts are cold and snowy!! So, complaining about heat is nonsense! Sorry to say, but try to experience other countries!

    What is your first impression of Cebu? Should be the question ms.Dorcas because I’m from Manila and it’s very different comparing the two places, I just can’t be ease everytime I watch this segment and I also gave the same point to Nurse Ruth on this matter, Cebu can’t represent the entire PH it just can’t.

For the clout and to avoid comments like yours. But these students, ito un observation nila. They live here til the duration of their studies. Iba un one week or month vacation sa Pinas kesa un tumira ka ng 4-5yrs sa Pinas. Makikita mo tlga un problema ng isang bansa.
