went from 7 HP to 9 HP. Almost 30% power increase. . . Amazing
Where did you find out the it went from 7 to 9? I missed that part...
Goes from 7 HP to 9 HP
Gets turbolag :/
Hey the bike hp is 196+turbo200hp=396hp total

The way your face lit up when the engine fired up, that's classic, like a big kid. LOL
Always good to see people enjoying what they do.
Your turbo oil drain MUST be at the bottom. You only need to loosen the bolts that clamp the turbine and compressor housings and you will be able to rotate the centre housing. I see others have mentioned a oilfeed restrictor. I use the same turbo on a bike which has 60psi oil pressure and have a 1mm restrictor in the oil supply line. If you do these mods the smoke should disappear. Nice job on the bike
You can't with that turbo, it's a cheap turbo
I was looking for this comment
@@NOONE-hp8bw Clearly you can. It has symmetrical screw spacing, meaning you can rotate the turbo as you please.
@@Rosteripulla it's alot different from a car right? I never through bike with turbo because i throught it was only for cars because thats what I do can u please tell me how so that I can also do to bikes i have a garage
@@zeomac2511 The turbo doesn't care what it's attached to. Car, bike, lawnmower, same thing.
The sheer joy on your face when it finally kicks over is priceless! Nice workmanship!
Is it really 'nice workmanship'?? How the hell would you know, you never saw the bike actually run down a road.
@@aussiehardwood6196 u must be really fun at parties
0.5hp and it burn alot of oil. 1liter of oil : 150km
Such an insanely cool video, simple but so interesting, keep up the great work!
the amount of boost he is making for the size of the motor and valve count is respectable. I have a 180cc 4v makes more boost but that comes down to turbo sizing. great vid.
What turbo are you running?
For the people claiming it isnt making boost 1- the gauge is in bars i think.. meaning he is making 2-3 psi from what i saw. 2- give him credit. some people slap plastic turbines on their cars in the name of science. when the question has already been answered. it doesnt work. If anything the fake turbos reduce air into an engine XD, but this little motors can be boosted with the right setup. if u watch the gauge he does make boost, and an engine doesnt jump to the limiter like that n/a ahahaha
@sourand jaded Does this result in an increase in preformance? i thought i was seeing 3 psi maybe no? Im not an expert but it looked to be working to me.
@sourand jaded I think i see what you mean now after slowing down the video. so in basic terms what does that mean? why does it need a plenum for boost? Is it because there is nothing for pressure to build, so it just jets straight in? Again not an expert but i think your saying its not making boost because it cant build enough pressure?
@sourand jaded so basically the charge pipe/plenum serves as an area to build boost correct? Im not nearly as educated I understood like half of that.
@sourand jaded I have seen a video of a 125 making 15 psi it looked wicked. Dude was on ice too
@sourand jaded To my understanding, the timing in a 3-cylinder is even better than in a 4-cylinder... But a 2stroke-variable-lenght-resonance-chamber is easier and cheaper to make, in order to keep boost of a single cylinder always at optimum...
czcams.com/video/0odVzSgufjk/video.html Automatic system
czcams.com/video/xgj-_vdcO7w/video.html 12:35 manual system (he changes the buffle-position with a screwdriver, but it´s a proof-of-concept for you to watch)... Chamber-rear-buffle has been moved by 3cm for each run, so torque stays at maximum, but for a higher rpm at each run.
Conclusion, by moving the chamber, or even solely the chamber´s rear-buffle, you can match the exhausts resonance-length in a way, that you always have optimal, total combustion (always functioning in resonance with the expansion-chamber, at any rpm, means, that no fuel escapes unburnt through the exhaust anymore), and maximal boost... With simple low-tech, no turbo or cylinder-head-valves needed.
With turbo in place I think you need to change the timing of your cylinder to eliminate the white smoke. This is actually inspiring.
I loved the clean oil lines. Nice little project. Reminds me of the old Honda Turbo. 😎
How about applying it to the Honda Vario/Click 125cc FI, This is a cvt scooter i like it.
The force is strong with those mastering MIG!
Wish I had a 1/4 of your skills ,and your not afraid to try! Amazing!!

3:50 was a great shot, even with a little bike participation. cool project!
Mad Respect to your project and mad respect to your video.
That's crazy amazing bru hahaha love the video.
In addition to other comments. I also noticed what looked like the air bubles in the turbo drain going upwards. It might be that there's back pressure in the crank case which is pushing vent air back through the inlet side of the turbo bearing slip rings. A idea to would be to run the drain into a bucket for 30 seconds (don't run out of oil!) and see if it made a difference.
G'day from West Australia, 😉
Think your turbo needs an oil restrictor in the feed line.
If you do have one it needs to be a lot smaller.
Otherwise you engine sump will end up dry, and a blown up motor with no bearings left.
Otherwise nice build, 2 thumbs up from me 🙂👍👍
Looks like the oil pressure is pushing it up from the drain and burning it in the turbo. Maybe a check valve in the drain line.
His engine needs a rebore after this look at the smoke on his engine lol
Go perth woo
Just found this, thanks CZcams. G'day from WA too.
For every 5 gallons of gasoline consumed, 1 gallon of oil is also consumed. 🤣 Just kidding. 🤣🤣 Greate build and video. G'day from serbia
Dude, that is so friggin awesome. I what to hook up my mini bike with a turbo like you did, it is a 212cc predator engine. I love what you did with your 125cc.
It'll be more work because you'll need an oil pump and external power source for it..., the predator and other pull start engines of that size are splash lubricated.
It is doable though.
REALLY fantastic video! much love
Great video, good videomaking and mechanic 😉
Damn that’s cool, wonder how much boost you could run on propane with liquid phase injection into the intake (liquid to gas expanding would have a big cooling effect too coupled with the high octane). Or even n/a with maxed out compression ratio to take advantage of it for efficiency,
It's crazy but awesome, congratulations!!!
love your content bro! keep it up u deserve a subs and a like 🤗
I love classic motors so much !!!

to raise the boost more you could delay the ignition and when it goes up give it 20 degrees... draw turbo in those applications is the best... you could also puncture the rubber tube of the wastegate to increase the boost... 💪💪💪
Yuri... Look at the views, we want to see more of the turbo engine.
how to make vehicles run on alkali solution, ammonia solution, alcohol solution: electrolysis (can be fuelcell dry/wet hho, radio frequency hho, or plasma hho generators) inside fuel filter (injection vehicles) or big custom float bowl (carburetor vehicles) , and inside combustion chamber by plasma from multi sparkplugs, water laser ignition sparkplugs, we need hack the electrycity by change regular stator/altenator with high current one, then adding air scoop with wind turbine electric generator (all land, sea and aviation vehicles can use it as external electic current generator) inside it and put alternator on propeller shaft or axle (for cars, truck and other wheelers vehicles) and electric motor stator generator inside center of rear velg and front velg (for cars, motorcycles) this guaranteed free energy by movement of vehicles and wind that come from front of vehicles, then use supercapacitor in hydrogen generator connection cable and varistor in coil-ignition sparkplugs cable, then make electrolysis inside fuel filter first electrolysis (pem or plasma hho or by radio freq hydrogen generator), because grafity effect, water inside fuel filter or float bowl will make pressure so hydrogen don't come back to fuel tank come down but up right into injector or carburetor fuels spray, by injecting or spraying both hydrogen and water into internal combustion chamber chain reaction (explosion by next electrolysis stage must been happening inside combustion chamber) plasma sparkplugs or water laser ignition sparkplugs will make electrolysis+ignition , the principle is same like lightning strike on sea (natural electric plasma electrolysis) that convert sea water into hydrogen and oxygen + make pressure at sea water then burn it cause by lightning strike hit hydrogen (explosion of water on sea by lighting strike) on it this mean all vehicles actualy can run and burn on water and hydrogen, the scheme will same to fuelcell electric vehicles which when inside i.c.e engine we burn hydrogen and water in fcev we just injecting hydrogen from electrolysis right into fuelcell
Was it really worth it????
The reason for the smoke is that these turbo's have the incorrect type of seal on the shaft into the compressor housing. And what is happening is when the engine is at idle or off throttle eg: under vacuum, it's sucking oil through the turbo shaft seal. I know this as I used the same turbo years ago on a 140cc thumpster. Remove the turbo and you will find excessive amount of oil in the intake port and turbo outlet. Not sure if there is a turbo this size that has the correct seal type to be under negative pressure. Great build though! Very neat!!
Love the engineering man, soo cool!
thak you for this wonderful gift to society my man
Awesome pipes. What jets did you end up with? Did your pilot stay more or less the same?
It would be better if you share the results of before and after,
0-100 km or 0-60 miles, time
Liter/km or gallon/mile
Operation temperature of engine and etc..
But also it was a good video thank you dude.
Well done Yuri.
Best regards from Mexico "tovarich"!
Love it. Good wheelie and an even better burnout. And she looks real pretty too.
Looks like the turbo has a dynamic seal for use above the throttle valve not the carbon seal needed for use downstream of the throttle/carburetor.......meaning it will be sucking oil in thru the turbo seal and into the motor whenever its not making boost pressure.
Ah, so that's making it smoke
The oil drain should be straight down and you need a "boost chamber" a intake 4 times bigger than engine's cc
I think he wants it to be reliable.. those are great tips for performance!
Νο plenum in draw through setup. Only in blow through 😉
@@zezeNoPro you need a plenum in both
He made very cool, way rideable, 80's rock star smoke machine!🎸👍
You are a very good engineer, love your crazy projects.
😆
That's awesome! How much of a performance increase did you feel on the bike?
Lots more smoke. Woot?
now the top speed of the bike to see how much it goes up
Very impressive job ;loved:)
Nice Work. Thanks from Germany.
Beautiful welds 😝
the Engine is not 125, it was changed for a Daytona 190cc.
Nah yx160 cc
this really inspire me, thanks a lot
I guess a burnout is necessary in any engine modification video...
Good job, thumbs up!
Excellent video sir.
Brother man, that was awesome 👍😎
What's the A/R ratio of the turbo you chose and the impeller size? For a 125cc engine to not induce excessive turbo lag in my experience, you would need the NLA IHI Brand 17mm turbo with a computer controlled electronic wastegate, as this would be the only type that could respond quickly enough to the input signals of this tiny engine. If we go back 30-odd years, Honda had fits with their original CXT500 turbo in what '83 with a 33mm turbo? When they upped the engine displacement to 643cc's in '85 and the turbo to a 35mm and went to a full electronic fuel injection management system, it became a docile, fine running roadster competent to almost any liter plus Superbike sold, with superb handling due to it's lighter weight and mass centralization.
Kawasaki made a turbo bike also back then i think
got a link for that turbo
Engine yx 160 (160cc), not 125cc
That's insane! I love it!
Very nice work! But as others have said, the oil drain should be pointing down, the smoke is from the turbo not draining properly
its burning oil bad ! turbo seals ?
How much HP has the engine after installing the turbo booster?
214
Excellent build!
Pure fun, amazing vid!
Very nice nine horse power, you're the man
nice, really pretty.
I would get the turb near the exhaust rather than the intake.
I'll get the carb after the compressor.
I' would intercool it, you know, 'cause is cooler.
Super job!
Great work 🏍😎
Was waiting this for
How crazy awesome is that!
So crazy project, but I love it!
My hero
Job well done
Looks cool man. Just clock that turbo so your feed is on top and your drain is on the bottom!
Awsome build!!!!
Great job 👍
I am a turbocharger manufacture from China. I like your video. This turbo is used on Suzuki JIMNY. It's a very nice choice. It's almost the smallest turbo I have ever seen. My suggestion is to put the turbo under your engine. The engine oil must gose into the turbo BEFORE it starts to work.
Brutal, respect great Job.👍from 😃🇭🇺
Nice bike and jice job, enjoy
🙂🥰
Every postman needs this turbo mod.
That is the best setup 👌
Great job
I don't care about the smoking tires part of it but I would like to see a before and after on a Dyno machine or even acceleration tests or something.
You need to reclocl the center section. Oil inlet should be on top. That's why it's smoking so much.
Cool looking build though.
Sehr Geile Arbeit 👍😁♥️🇩🇪
Really hope in other videos, there are some comments about what you are doing.
Yep thats crazy Yuri
Great work ...
What a nice sound little good looking monster

De ezek után apró modosításokkal lehetne még rajta elég sokat fejleszteni.

As soon as you took the rotary tool to the frame in Australia it would be written off.
Not mentioning you have to get it re-engineered if you change the induction of an engine here as we
Под турбирование нужно либо поршень с так называемой лужей, или хоть разжать камеру сгорания. А в целом отличная работа!
The work is interesting. More studies would have been necessary to achieve something consistent. By instance a turbo always needs a vertical oil feed from top to bottom to avoid oil consumption (smoke and possible turbocharger destruction). Also it doesn't reach its functional rotation speed. Good try and best of luck for the next project.
Good job
Thats awesome ✨🤩
Just awesome!
