why would you need a 1.2 lens for indoor portraits?

To shallow dof for sharp portrait..

For corporate headshots this lens is pure overkill.
No one will zoom in to adimre the out of focus areas
For 95% of the photography work this lens is not needed. The price is insane and Nikon has lots its marbles.
Would Nikon relase finally 1.4 lenses then they would address a broader customer base. As of now I continue with SLR because Nikon does not deliver.
