I mean they are both based off of goku and vegeta so yeah that's why their teamwork is pretty awesome

they aren't rivals. they basically became friends at the end of sa2 when shadow stopped being edgy and then sega ruined the character by making him edgy again and giving him guns and motorcycles and making him say damn every couple seconds and thinking sonic is below him. the real shadow (sa2 shadow) NEVER did that.
I really love these kinds of sprite battles.

Bro this was made in Pivot? When I was a kid, I only ever remember it being capable of basic stick figure animations. This is OG flash-tier animation, this is an excellent sprite fight! Was Pivot always capable of being used like this, or has it come a long way? Is it a worthwhile animation tool compared to the premium stuff around these days?
I used also Adobe Premiere Pro for camera, sounds and some effects. I think that it's not a very good choice for animating because there are some troubles and time-wasting operations. I think, people who want animating should to learn Flash/Animate, if you ask me.

Because the only reason why Hyper Shadic survived the giant ball of death by Nazo is because Super Tails and Knuckles helped them, because if they weren't there...Shadic would have been toast along the earth.

Yes he is, Nazo even said after obtaining the form "Understand this; Shadic, Tails, Knuckles, all of you combine cannot match the amount of chaos energy I now possess". The author of the animation just doesn't care about power scaling
no because shadow and sonic together uses 2 different chaos energy. shadow uses the positive and sonic uses the negative. therefore combing those 2 together becomes strong. also in this fight sonic and shadow never used the master emerald to turn the chaos emeralds into super emeralds so nazo can not use his hyper form but they added it only so the fight would be longer.
@Electro777 Yes actually your right he was already stronger than hyper shadic, Shadic only won because of tails and knux's help because without that help shadic would get clapped in the battle
