Omer Yurtseven would be a great back up center with experience, defense and offense. Look at the tape. Snatch him up on the cheap before someone realizes how good he could be under Thibs.

Let's ride with the current roster! Precious might be our next IHart, especially being able to play multiple positions . What 5 wants to guard him out the box?

I would play, as the main lineup, Randle at the 5, Bridges 4, Anunoby 3, DeVincenzo 2, Brunson 1. If the opposition goes big and it becomes a problem, you can always bring in Robinson.
Losing Hartenstein hurt, especially because you saw the difference in the offense with him in there vs. Robinson. Randle at the 5 fixes that and you could probably be OK defensively in most circumstances with Randle there.
I wouldn't be running to trade McBride or even more picks for someone like Kessler. I would try to make it work with Randle before sacrificing even more assets.

I’m on your side! But it’s possible that this might work but it’s risky. I love not going to lie but the injury concern of Randle could be a factor. I think the Knicks might be looking for durability and consistency at the 5. Thank you for the support family! Like 👍 and support 🫡🔥

You’re on drugs. You can’t start Randle off at the 5. 😂😂
He would NEVER AGREE TO THAT MADNESS.

    • @ortforshort7652

@@SaulTeeBalls The 5 ain't what it used to be. Nobody's asking him to play the pivot. The Knicks would have to change their offense, of course. It would be spread out like most teams do these days.
The Knicks would be playing small ball - don't know if Thibodeau has that term in his dictionary.
I don't see Randle having much of a problem with this on offense. Thibodeau would because he would actually have to adapt to the personnel to make the offense work better.
Randle would have to change the way he plays D, at times, to play in the role of rim protector something he really isn't suited for. But with defensive studs like Bridges, Anunoby and Hart around, Randle probably wouldn't have to try to rim protect very often.
Again, it would be Thibodeau who would have to adjust on D as he loves him some rim protectors on defense.

To me, the Knicks definitely need another center. I love Mitch's role with the team. He's great defensively and keeps the O going with offensive boards. But he will never be a 35-minute or even a 30 minute per game guy. Nor can you rely on him to play more than 65 games a year. Personally, I would give up Deuce to get Kessler. But that would probably mean Kolek is getting significant run at PG as a rookie. I cannot imagine Thibs would be thrilled with the prospect of that happening! Of course, it sounds like Deuce would NOT be enough to bring back Kessler. Picks would have to be included. It's true that the Knicks are quite young and picks are not a super high priority at the moment. But Brunson, Bridges and Randle can all be gone in two years. Having someone like Hart does raise the possibility of playing Julius at the five. But I'm not a big fan of going small except against certain lineups. BTW. I think Julius' injury was a fluke. I would expect him to back to his iron man self in 2024-25. A lot of disparate thoughts here. Bottom line, give up Deuce as a part of a deal to get a high quality center who might start. Otherwise, at least get Simms some solid competition for the back-up role.

Yes, I agree Bill Mitch might have a hard playing a lot of minutes. Deuce and Picks have to go for Kessler. I just think durability at the 5 is important. I hope 🤞 Julius is 💯 but I had surgery with my rotator cuff and it has never been the same 😭. I’m sure the Knicks have access to better surgeons. Thank you for the support great points you make!! Great insight family! Like 👍 and subscribe🔥🫡

Utah will not trade Kessler, the best bang for the buck coming out of Utah to benefit the Knicks would be Omer Yurtseven. He has the same defensive game play as Hartenstein and is a better shooter, a big that can hit 3's would be nice. But I wouldn't be mad at holding it out with Precious until mid-season and go from there.

I need to look into Omer but it does make sense to play out until mid season for a move. Thank you for the support family! Like 👍 and subscribe🫡🔥

We should keep calm......Bigs we have right now: 1. Mitch 2. Simms 3. Randle 4. Hukporti (Grown as# man + pro experience) 5. Achiuwa if we resign. We should try to get Kessler but don't do anything drastic.

The KNICKS didn't trade Duece bc he will be traded for WALKER KESSLER.
Then they're going to sign Kyle Lowry and Precious Achiuwa

🔥🔥if Utah is on some fukk Boy shit.. We Kould run it with Simms to give Mitch rest & Go small with Randle at the center.. If we get Prexious.. He kan not play xenter.. Espexially against Philly, Denver, S.A. & other teams with 7 footers xenters.. MayBe our 4th pikk might pane out.. Kessler is ideal.. However, just having someone to protext the rim & get reBounds would make sense.. As Our 2nd pikk would make sure Brunson get rest & everyone get there xhanxes to shoot 😎😎🔥🔥

Agree. To interest Utah, give McBride, ,# 58 draft pick from this year, and 3 draft picks . McBride is good , but Knicks have enough depth at scoring good . # 58 could be as good as Kessler in a few years .

AInge can't jump too far out tha window wanting pics. Kessler ain't commanding no Rudy Gobert picks. Duren and and Ivy would be better than good in my opinion. Duren unda Thibs? Duren's stats is better than Mitch and IHart so I can't imagine what he would turn into. Then Johnny Bryant working with Ivy WHAT! Kessler is a stretch 3. Thibs would turn hi into a BEAST. What if they could get all 3?

Definitely getting paid more than Jalen Brunson and other player. Compare to the salary that our guys have no! But it’s the direction the NBA is heading with the salary cap growing. Jalen Brunson is going to be paid it’s coming.
