    Great video Q! Great looking truck. I as well have a 6 inch R/C lift I did purchase the R/C coilovers front and rear along with the R/C traction bars and put it on a 2018 F 150 right after I bought the truck. To me the truck drives and rides as good as when it was new. It has 20x10x35s as well. You can tell a little difference because of the bigger tire. Also the train horns are installed! I'm loving those. Keep up the great work. You have inspired me on a few things. Thank you.

    I went with the vertex front coilovers and rear socks. And let me tell you. It rides amazing. Worth the cost and the 2 months wait. I wanted the bds coilovers kit but the wait was tooooo long. But now I don't think I need it. And don't think I'll get twice the ride quality since they are almost twice as much. I actually run them on setting 4 or 5 because that's good enough for me. Setting 1 and 2 are a soft and smooth but a bit to much to my taste.
    By the way. I drop of my explorer to the dealer today for the camera issue and other issues and technical say it might be the apim module. Since all the issues are tied to that particular module. They will replace the camera since there is a recall on it but might also replace the apim for the other issues. Hope this help.

    I know this is a year old video but I just got a full set of rough country M1 monotube shocks for my f250 super duty no lift. Ordered them this past Friday night and the came today directly from rough country. Holy shit what a difference from my old rancho rs5000. Quality and finish are really good for a not super expensive set of shocks and the ride is not what I expected. It's like a new truck. Granted I have a solid front and rear axel on leaf springs so it's hard to get a real nice smooth ride out of a truck like mine. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a nice looking semi cheap shock set. I paid 340 shipped and hell that's about what I would have paid at the auto parts store for a shit set of Monroe or napa brand with today's prices. Time will tell how they hold up.

    Hey Q. did you mean RC Vertex Piggy back reservoir for the rear and not "coil overs"? Also for rear Fox shock mounting. I have mine like that as well. However, since they are nitrogen filled you can mount either way. I prefer the shock body up and the shaft downwards. I also have those plastic guards in front of the shaft to prevent debris and so forth on the shafts from getting nicked up and eventually causing your seals to get damaged and leak. As you know I tried Vertex Coil overs in the for the front. Ride was nice but the noise they made wasn't favorable. Since going to Fox coil overs in the front I am absolutely loving the driving expireince with FOX all the way around. And from an aesthetic point of view works good for my truck since it is Ingot Silver.

    Most shocks are not IFP shock? I'm sure you would know when you pay for them? But someone along the line decided, it would look "COOL" turning there shocks upside down and not put a boot over the rod because that wasn't "COOL" anymore? Lmao But think about it....your shock is upside down with the rod closer to the road and exposed to dust, dirt, mud, and water all moving in an out of your shock on that dirty rod possibly damaging it?🤯 Then saying damn, these shocks suck because they didn't last long?🤔

    I love my Fox shocks in the rear. I have the basic BDS 6" kit and it rides really smooth. I don't think I'm going to upgrade to coilovers. I just don't know if it's worth the money for an extra extra smooth ride. Lol.
    However, if I could crank the coilovers up to prevent some rubbing when I turn I would definitely consider it.

    • @KickinItWithQ
      @KickinItWithQ  Před 3 lety

      You can crank you the rough country vertex coilovers not sure about the bds since I don’t have them. Me personally adding the coilovers overs the truck rides way better than the stock rough country. But you have BDS so you might ride quality already
