***PLEASE NOTE: Do NOT swim with a mermaid belt on if you are not an experienced swimmer, or if it makes it difficult for you to swim. Safety should always be your number one priority while in the water! With that being said, the belts look super cute out of the water too, so you can still wear one, even if you aren't comfortable swimming with one...don't worry! :)

Look I know im late to the video but I have a question about my semi silicone mermaid tail and this belt... would this belt help keep the tail up on my waist. Occasionally it slips down makeing the tail look unrealistic?
This belt will not help hold your tail up. But it is a pretty accessory to add to the realism of your look. I like to wear mine with a scarf or two to help hide the area where my tail ends and my skin begins.
If you have lost or gained weight since your tail was made, this can cause your tail to not fit quite as well. Also, if you don't have a drainage system in your tail, this can contribute to the problem too. I have been experiencing this issue a lot this year personally, as I have put on some healthy weight since getting my tail. 😊💖 I suggest using a fabric scrap/scarf to wear around your waist to cover up the area.

I’m looking to make something like that, but with rings and such on it, like stuff I found when swimming or at the beach that I kept because it’s shiny. I can’t wait for my tail to arrive, it’s supposed to be here sometime this week!!!
You should show things to make for mermen like a trident, seashell sash, etc. you should also show how to make nautical themed decor.

Can you do a vid on how to add side fins and a top fin for fabric tails
I actually do not have much sewing experience, so I probably wouldn't be the best person to give you a tutorial on that. 😅It's a great suggestion though!

Would a net belt look okay on a merman?
I've seen many mermen wearing net belts before, though it all comes down to personal preference. :) I think they add a nice touch to any merperson's wardrobe! ^-^
I'm buying a black fin fun fabric merman tail so I want to accessorize . I always wanted to be a merman when I was little and now that I am grown up I want to make it a reality. I love your videos.

Hi again magical crafter ! I was wondering if you knew any good sights or ideas for bathing suits that cover the stomache but still look good with the mermaid tail. I'm kinda shy about showing my stomach so that's why I wanted something that covers it .
I understand exactly what you mean about feeling kind of shy sometimes. I actually have used a one-piece bathing suit with my Fin Fun Tail before and was pretty happy with how it looked. Mine was black with white dots and ruffles around the hips/belly. I pulled my tail up until it was just under the ruffles. The dark color of the bathing suit and the ruffles made me feel more secure about how my body looked without looking too... un-mermaidy? For lack of better words? Hahaha! X3
I hope that helped you some and that I didn't confuse you too much? (I'll be posting a video of the whole outfit in a few weeks so you can get a better idea of what I mean... since I don't have any pictures of it :( )

How tangled did this get after you swam? Lol
It actually does not tangle, really. I mean, some of the pearl strands will twirl together on occasion, but it's super easy to un-do them 😊
Oh. I thought it would of tangled more because I made my mermaid belt using a diver weight belt and added embellishments to it. I put two pearl strands on it and they get caught up in everything on the belt. Needless to say I no longer have them. Thought that your netting would of been worse for tangles. Amazing it doesn't. thanks for sharing

How would you add shells ?
Hmmm... you could probably drill some hole in some shells and attach them to the belt with wire, jump rings, or hemp cord? I hope that helped!

Or glue them on with E6000 or if you're swimming in nature (ocean, lakes..) use marine epoxy, not only is it non-toxic to our environment and creatures, it's waterproof too!

Shahd Hatem you can also make them! I have an instructable under Talar Asdourian on how I made my monofin, and I tested it again today, and besides some alterations, it's great! you can buy fabric off etsy or Joanns, and there are YT tutorials!
Shahd Hatem no there are not, take a look at Amazon, if you are willing to wait for three months you can get a skin for six dollars and a mono fin for 40 dollars. Free shipping. That's what I did.
