Hey everyone! A lot of you guys have requested me to do more Periphery covers so here ya go! Really digging the new EP, this song in particular (Composed by Mark Holcomb) is my favourite track for sure :)
The cover was recorded with a Fractal Audio Axe Fx II into Logic Pro X and I'm using my Mayones Regius 7 Guitar loaded with Bare Knuckle Juggernauts. I have no tab as I learnt this song by ear, hope you enjoy the video!

Ryan, you were my hero ten years ago. This video showed a 16y/o me that professional-level technique was not strictly reserved for people in their 20’s/30’s, and lit a fire under my ass that made me the player I am today. You were my gateway from Rise Records core to the golden decade of the Prog Metal guitar scene. You showed me what was possible through sheer determination and hard work - a lesson which has no doubt shaped the next ten years of my life. I am eternally grateful for your time investment in the industry, and it will no doubt feel this loss for years to come.
Rest in peace Ryan. Thank you for your part in who I am today.
This is the first video of Ryan I ever watched and this is how I’ll always remember him - fun, full of energy, and an absolutely jaw-dropping player for his age. An inspiration to old and new guitar players alike.

I haven't made an (electric) guitar cover in 2 years, I think somewhere on the road I just lost the passion I once had.
I happened to stumble upon this cover in my "interesting videos" section on youtube, and I'll tell you, the moment I finished watching this incredible cover I decided to finally, after all these years pick up my guitar again. All thanks to you.

No drugs, but loss in family, I moved out and began studying etc, so I just lost the passion. But now I got the time and inspiration again!

Awesome cover, I have spent 2 days and still struggling to play the song - dont think people who dont play guitar realize how difficult the song is (or maybe its just me :D) pretty new to the style of open chord playing (lead and rhythm meshed) rather than more linear traditional playing.

I would say some of the top guitarist of our time. As far as I am concerned you are right up there with these innovator's.
