@@theclockcollector401 Np also instead if the hour chime is off then just keep putting the minute hand back and making it chime again until it gets to the right hour - works with my clocks
@@A8d2 Oh okay. I’ve always thought that you were supposed to move the hour hand since that’s the instructions I’ve always gotten from clock repair shops. But maybe I shouldn’t move the hour hand.
@@theclockcollector401you can move the hour hand, NEVER MOVE THE MINUTE HAND BACKWARDS ON A DUAL SPRING MOVEMENT only if in the exact instructions or manual says it’s safe to do so or a clock shop inspects it

To add onto this, @theclockcollector401 depending on the clock it is safe most of the time to move the hour hands
