- This is a grandfather clock that was manufactured by the New England Clock Company, headquartered in Farmington, CT. It is a division of the WK Sessions clock company which was started by the grandson of the original Sessions clock company. It has a triple chime Kieninger movement that plays the Westminster, St. Michael and Whittington chimes. This clock is for sale at Timeless Jewelry and Clocks for $1300. The address is 3496 Shoreline Dr, Wayzata, MN 55391.
I love the sound of that grandfather clock. I'm currently searching for a cable-driven grandfather clock to add to my collection right now.
I would recommend this one to you but I think you live far away from me
I think you may be right. Iowa's my state.
Oh I’m actually in Minnesota
WOW GREAT I am glad I can hear anything else than the most popular Westminster. Thumbs up for the video!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔
I love this clock! Proud to be a resident of New England!
Nice video. I like how you show the inside before it starts to play.
I didn't have any idea the New England Clock Co made a Grandfather Clock. How Sweet.
Yeah they made a few but not many
The st.michael chime sounds so pretty + that hour strike was stronger than any grandfather clock i've ever seen!
Yeah this one is beautiful
Nice Grandfather Clock and keep it up on your awesomeness videos
Thanks man
I think the movement might be the sage model as my grandfather clock’s old movement. The clicking sound that initiates the chime is similar and the hammers also look similar.
Nice sounding clock!
I agree, thank you
Love the sound of this clock and the echoing
Thank you. I like it too.
@@samsclocks2084 my favorite come tone on that clock is Westminster. Is their a website that I can look picture of it??
Not that I can find
@@samsclocks2084 What year is the clock??
Probably 80s
Good one bro
I subscribed! Also, I love this clock.
Thank you. I enjoy it too.
William K Sessions in the 1960s started a clock company known as W.K Sessions along with the New England Clock Company. He abandoned the W.K Sessions company in the 80s but kept the New England Clock Company going until the 90s.
Is it related to the old sessions clock company?
@@samsclocks2084 It was started by the son of the one that started the old company
Good to know
Proud to be a NewEnglander!
This Video Causes Me To Desire to Possess a Clock of Grandfather.
That’s the idea
It’s for sale for $1300
Nice amount of views
Ik it’s impressive
What make of movement is fitted?is it a modern German one ? Interested as I'm a horologist
Yes it is German. It is made by Kieninger.
My New England clock has been in storage for several years. The instructions say to set the time by moving the large hand counter clockwise and start the pendulum movement. The clock does not start, can you help me or direct me to someone that can?
Uhh, you really do not want to be turning them counter clockwise, or at the very least keep it to a minimum if you can.
If the clock does not start, it may not be level, or there may be a larger issue at play.
A New England clock but the clock is from Germany? 🤔
By 0:48 you see down the 6: made in Germany.
+ i know how the German clocks sounds.
I think this is just a kieninger clock that New England clock co put their name on it
not hermle
I’ve seen cases of grandfather clocks that are hermle or Kieninger that have a different name on them. Something tells me this is one of those cases.
@@samsclocks2084 this one isnt
@@theray2009 pls listen to him
@@gearzclocks1070 I know for a fact not, and if I remember correctly, the New England clock company was taken over by Talley Industries, same company who owned Ingraham, Westclox, and of course, Seth Thomas until the 90s
@@theray2009 I know this is not hermle this is kieniniger movement and some grandfather clocks has hermle movements does that make sense
