  • By popular demand, here's the copy of this original video without music.
    We've made the Zenith STOL CH 750 light sport utility kit aircraft even bigger and better!
    The STOL CH 750 cabin, which by all measures is already very roomy for a light aircraft, has been increased in size by raising the cabin height by nearly three inches (or 70 mm.)
    The top front of the cabin (the ceiling) has been raised and is now part of the lifting surface of the aircraft (further adding to the STOL capability of the aircraft).
    The cabin frame's top diagonal cross member has been replaced by two beefy smaller diagonal "hand-holds" by the front of the cabin, and the formed plexiglass top window adds to the lifting surfaces of the aircraft, to provide better STOL performance and capability.

    One of the nicest jobs I've seen done on this aircraft! You should really be proud! That's a beauty to behold and I bet Heaven to fly. I hate to even think what a similarly equipped Maule or other factory built airplane would cost. Plus I bet this out performs in almost every category hands-down! Great job!

    Very cool! By the way, I know simulations, and the real thing are completely different animals, but, in the sim, when I attempt to use flaps, they snap back to the retracted detent. On take-off, they'll stay where I set them, though. Just wondering if that happens in the real aircraft, or is there something that has to be set, to make them remain extended, during landings? Great video, by the way. Thanks.

    Ahhhh...that's better... no stupid music. Can you get an aero diesel engine mod for this ? I'm wanting one to be able to run on standard automotive diesel ...and a tri blade would be good too.

    why are you always holding on to your throttle control?

    • @JohnMGreiner
      @JohnMGreiner Před 7 lety +1

      usually that is private pilot 101, keep you hand on the throttle for take off and landings, ie if it releases and goes to idle or you don't notice, but they are so loud I don't see how you wouldn't notice.
