KID ROCK- ONLY GOD KNOWS WHY. you will not regret it. Its my number 1 favorite of all time, and im sure many others as well
Legit, powerful song.
Preach! I
favorite by him
That whole CD đ„°
That's why somebody got to rewind the tape and realize once it's gone it's gone and it just it's too late enjoy it enjoy the ride
Canât believe they blocked out cocaine. He said fueling up on cocaine and whiskey
No chit...why else would you hole up in a room for 3 days?
@@Vomvomvomvomvom I just like the smell of it.
Country music radio blocked out cocaine every time the song played. Ridiculous really.
Agreed. When he says he is âfueling up on cocaine and whiskeyâ, heâs talking about putting himself through hell. He isnât glorifying it. It was needlessly censored if you ask me!
@@continentalaquatics2725 that's the great thing about songs..dont assume you interpret a song the same as the next person... songs mean so many different things to different people..its about life experiences
I live alone, so that random cough scared the shit out of me lol
Me too. Suspected my dog for a sec.
Her fiance is a magician...he might be in your house!
I looked around the room for a good 10 minutes. Lol!!
OMG! This killed me LOL!! Me too, I fully jumped.
Me too! Damn near jumped out of my skin!! I thought someone was hiding in my bathroom. lol
Single father by kid rock.
One of his best.
Kid Rock has such a range of music. From rock to rap. Country to the blues. From punch you in the face metal. To tearjerkers. An live shows are a event. Not just a concert.
Great story...Kid Rock was so lost, wrapped-up in bad, really bad stuff in the world of Hip Hop. At an Award Show, he met Hank Williams Jr. They became fast friends. Hank invited him to his ranch in Nashville, Kid all but moved in. Hank help him turn his life around and Kid became a huge Country music fan. Beautiful story. They helped each other.
whenever i hear kidd rock push out that i was off to drink you away at 5:30 it just makes me want to binge all his stuff
When this song came out... it freaking blew up! Such an amazing song! *Thanks for the review!!!!*
Ever been in a country bar and this song come on?...Nine times outta ten, you will witness any couple that had been on the outs will reconcile to this song on the dance floor.
True story đ
Or start fighting hah.
we have all lived this song in one way or another. Thats one reason I think everyone loves this song.
Kid Rocks song Roll On is amazing. He's an amazing entertainer. I've seen him in concert 3 times and would go again in a second. Nice reaction.
Youâve reacted to his singing, you should react to his rapping with Bawitdaba or Cowboy
"I ain't seen the sunshine in 3 damn days..."
Kid Rock â All summer long â One of my favorites reminds me of high school in So Cal.
Fun fact: they never met eachother until the day they recorded, and shot this music video! And it shows in the video! đŻ
Also, Sheryl Crow is known to be pretty cold haha
They met at an awards show before they recorded this. She went to Michigan for a week or so when they recorded this video.
They started dating some time after making this video. Then they made another video, another song called Collide
Such a fucking classic. The memories of my mom listening to this song while cleaning are as crisp as the air on a sunday morning
certainly one of the best Male/female rock duets of my lifetime. Other notables worth checking out are Leather and Lace & Stop Draggin my heart around
This song propelled Kid Rock into the Southern Rock/Country genre.
Only artist ever to go platinum in 3 different music genres. Wrote his own lyrics. Wrote alot of his own actual music. Crazy talent that won't ever get his due until he dies unfortunately
If you like this, youâll love âCollideâ also with Kid Rock, and Cheryl Crow. Another song very much like this one. But youâre right they compliment each other very well.
I wish I could find the live TV performance of that where they danced on stage at the end. It's not anywhere on CZcams, which is surprising.
Guts Are you talking about the video for âCollideâ? Because they dance together in that video. If not, then I donât know, as I must not of seen it.
@@sntbozeman Yeah, Collide.. The performance I'm referring to was at the CMA'S or something, and they slow danced on stage in a spot light. And Sheryl reach back and grabbed him on the ass while they were dancing. đ
@Too Sushi, whenever they made this song Kid Rocks record label was dead set against him including it on his album. They told him they were convinced that it would not be well received by his fan base (this was one of, if not the first true county songs that he had done and tried to put out), and that it would fall flat. But he Insisted that it be on the album, and the label finally relented against their better judgement. And I think it became the biggest selling single of his career. Thank goodness they gave in, although by that point in Kids career they didnât really have much of a choice.
Guts lol, I havenât seen that. I will have to find it and check it out.
Youâve gotta do his song âOnly God Knows Whyâ definitely a true powerful song
Kid is amazing and Sheryl Crows voice is as beautiful as she is !!!
I love this song because it shows how complicated relationships get. I have never found love difficult, it's when love and life collide that things get complicated. So many relationships fall apart at that point; the point where you have to deal with your paramour as a person, not just an infatuation.
Please react to âOnly God Knows Whyâ, âDevil without a causeâ, âAll summer longâ, âCollideâ, âMidnight train to Memphisâ, âFirst kissâ, and âBorn Freeâ
Fully agree!
YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES, YES
And "Care"!
Kid Rock was born in Detroit Michigan and he lives in Minnesota that's why you see all the snowy scenes they recorded this in the winter he says when he wrote the song he who he was going to get to sing the female part they recorded this at his house
Love Kid Rock. Great duet. Before this song, the last song that made me feel this regret was Cinderella "Dont know what you got till its gone."
Kid Rock started as a rapper. Theres might have been like, 2 good songs on his first album.
His rock albums, specifically Devil Without a Cause has a lot of good tunes.
His country stuff is alright.
One thing is for sure about the man, his shows are freaking nuts
naw he didnt start as a rapper, he just mixed genres up, was never considered a rapper.
I remember being surprised by this song when it came out. Outside Kid Rock's lane, but so good.
My daughter and I used to have people request us to do this song every weekend on Karaoke night at our local night club. It was fun and I loved seeing her mothers pride when we started singing together. The late wife has since passed away and now every time I hear this song, I fall apart.
Shes just the cutest.
I like that she's taking the time to listen to these songs.
And no making a bad comment.
I like her.
I'd like to see her check out more Kid Rocks music
"Love is complicated" ... very true words. It's been 22 years sense I last was with her, but STILL, to this day ... I think about, what it would be like to be back with her and our daughter.
With age comes the wonderful ability to forget the BS and just remember the love. (I'll be 48 this year).
Kid Rock started out as a rapper from Detroit and now he's in the country the best movie ever made đ„đ€đ€đđŻđđ¶
Kid Rock is the absolute best. Whether itâs his rap/rock from his early days, to more rock, and then southern rock/country that he does so well now. I donât know if it because we are the same age and our musical flavors have seemed to change at the same time, but for my money he is one of the most underrated artist there is. I have seen him 4 times, and he absolutely kills it live. Rare today to see artist who are as good or better live than they are on the studio album. He can sing any genre there is and do it well. Also, he isnât all about the dollar. He stipulates for every show he does at least half of the ticket are capped at $20, and a certain numbers of concessions that sell 12oz beers for $4. And has done that for quite a while. Would love it if you would do more of his stuff. I could do a list a mile long of suggestions, but I will be here no matter what you pick so just give us some more. Loved this, good job.
He's my home-town boy and I'm proud of him. Underestimated talent.
This song is about two terrible people who're in love with each other not because they're good for each other, but because they're better together than they are with anyone else, including being alone.
When this song came out, I had a buddy in a band with an amazing female singer. They did a version of this song, but arranged it as an up-paced bluegrass-y song. I love the original, but that was a great song too!
Omg I'm so happy you reacted to this song Sushi! It really made my day, cuz this is like one of my all time favorite songs
"Only God Knows Why" by Kid Rock
Shirley Allen been one of my favorite songs since it came out. I used to just write the lyrics word for word if I got bored
@@wvwIceMan13wvw true classic
Kid rock - only god knows why
Another really good song by him.
They have a second song together called Collide. I always loved the way tier voices worked together!
Just started watching your reaction videos and because they seem so pure and genuine, I can't stop watching them. Keep rocking the videos and taking on the views.
It's like the song by Cinderella "Don't know what you got till it's gone.". .....Aewsome song you should check out.
Amazing reaction. Loved it when he belted out in classic Kid Rock. Lol your face was awesome lol. Do more of him also please. đ
They really were so good together. People scoffed when this song was announced because they werenât sure what you were gonna get⊠Kid Rock had never made a soft song at this point and had a bad boy image. This song blew everyone away and became a massive hitâŠ. It still is. Play it in any public gathering and people will sing along
No he had a country solo before this that was really good. Canât think of it now but it blue my mind when I first heard him sing.
Love this song! Especially watching them live together singing it.
a Classic!
The look on your face when Kid Rock let you have it was gold lol. Another of Kid Rockâs songs, called âBorn Free,â is also really good. You should check it out.
Kid Rock is a great musician. More people would realize that if they looked into his music and witnessed the evolution.
Absolutely! I used to think he was just a bad rapper, but then I heard some of his other stuff. Big fan now!!
Once you get passed the chemical stage, and then an equal amount of tough times and arguments, you get to spend the rest of your life with your best friend. Hang in there. It's worth it.
This song always reminds me of the ex. She used to sing this when she was getting ready for work. I found out that pretty busy with a number of guys! I got rid of her and no I didn't miss her when she was gone. As for your relationships being complicated , they don't have to be. My wife and I have great uncomplicated relationship. We both had crappy non participating first spouses and we help raise each others kids. All the kids are better for it as well as the two of us.
Love to see your Reactions. They are so emotion-filled!
I've been Married to my best friend for 45 years I was born in June 1950 she was born in July 1950 đ€Žđžđđ
Neil Diamond singing sweet Caroline. An oldie but goodie that just keeps getting better. My 7 year old grandson loves this song đ
That really made her sad. I guess that proves its a good heart felt song.
I can't believe you've never heard this! This song was huuuugggeee!!!!
Crazy thing is that was Kid Rocks first "singing" track ang hdr nailed it!!
I can hear the country/southern draw every now and again. Much love still, from West Virginia.. Blue and gold girl
Really like that song Love Cheryl Crowe's voice .
The irony here is that they've never been a couple. Great song by two great talents! Love your reactions! Could you check out Raining on Sunday by Keith Urban.
Hello there, I have enjoyed your reaction. Try Hinder's song LIPS OF AN ANGEL.
Yaaazz
Her voice is amazing also...this is a great song all around
No telling how long ago they went their separate ways, but both are coming to the realization that they belong together. Been dats since they even saw each other except in pictures.
This is my favorite duet. I am glad you got to it. I was in the Army stationed at Ft. Bragg, NC when I first heard this in 2001. I was wondering what was to be of my relationship with my Son's Mom whom was out of state. It didn't turn out good. I loved your reaction to his voice towards the end of the video.
The Kid Rock/ LeAnn Rimes version of this song is amazing. LeAnn Rimes blows all others out of the water when she sings it.
I literally paused the video and rewinded to make sure the cough was from the video, and not my house đ
Do âOnly God Knows Whyâ - Kid Rock

Omg yes!
YES!
Yes
Absolutely YES!!!
2 of the best musicians that have been underrated
I forgot about this song, what a great song. I love this one and will have to reupload it on my phone.

Has anyone told you that you are so funny đ€Ł Do you realize that you are? I smile every time I watch you. The songs that I take for granted being 62 years old because of you are bringing joy to my life. Keep enjoying life đ
i got some big headphones on right now and that sneeze/cough scared the living shit out of me
Happy Valentine's Day, young lady!! Love that song!
I hate they censored it.He said"been fueling up on cocaine and whiskey"
Lol, wonder how well the Pat Travers song "Snortin' Whiskey, Drinkin' Cocaine" would trigger that censor.
They should change it to Coke and Whiskey. That would be legit, but still keep the meaning.
Just discovered your Reaction videos this afternoon. Watched 5 or 6 of them. Thank you for sharing your reactions and experiences. Those experiences have made you the beautiful person that you are.
Of course, I subscribed.
This is one of my favorite duets.
Watching with my headphones on and that "cough" at 1:51 scared the hell outta me.hahaha
@Jamie Lee I don't proofread the comment section to see if someone had a similar thought. I didn't realize that my thoughts for the video was a in competition with other youtube viewers. Sorry to "still you're thunder".
Love and emotions are not complicated. They are in fact very simple. It's our tendency to avoid, ignore, or deny them... and our fear of another's reaction(s) to them that is complicated.
True love is a friendship, not a chemical even if starting that was. If older people thought that way then no one would ever marry 90 years like my grandparents
Love that song, and you are a beautiful person, keep it up sweetheart.
Love isn't complicated at all, really. These days people jump in the sack from physical attraction, have a kid, and wonder what happened a few years later when they're miserable and fighting. They had no commonalities to build upon or use as a foundation and it all came crashing down when the fire went out. You need to put the physical part on hold early and get to know one another first. Why do you think relationships mostly lasted back in the day and fail now? The little things. You need to find someone you can solve problems with; someone who is like-minded. Then escalate the relationship. That way, when the flame dies down, and it will, you have other things to keep the feelings alive. Trust, communication, common interests, etc. Essentially, you need to be friends first and foremost. That's why things are so backwards these days. The "dreaded friend zone", ladies and gentlemen. That's where you should be looking for your soulmate. The person you put there is the one with your best interests at heart. The one who knows and loves the real you, boring as they may seem. Just saying.
Once upon a time back in the day, Kid and Sheyrl were a thing and you can tell that familiarity comes across in this video
Is this the first youâve heard Kid Rock?!!!! You HAVE to check out his EVERYTHING!!!
Fun Fact, Sheryl Crow was a back up singer for Michael Jackson. Check out when she sings one of Michael Jackson's songs at the White House. She does a really good impression.
You're so right, you don't miss what you have until it's gone.
"You don't know what you got ('til it's gone)" - Joan Jett
I'd love to see you rock out to "Kid Rock - Bawitdaba - 7/24/1999 - Woodstock 99 East Stage (Official)"
I've been with the love of my life since 1988. I've never wanted anyone else and I wouldn't change a thing!
This girl is beautiful and what makes her so beautiful is the good †you can see come through even the reviews these songs
This song got my eyes balling out đđđđ how beautiful n exquisite đ
Noooo, you ended up with the censored Version. He fueled up on cocaine and whiskey
Kid Rock is a true Rockstar with heart
Crow was told not to do the duet it would ruin her career. This is the first kid rock song that really are me a fan. They did a fantastic job on this song
The song Fits you, you're a romantic. The amazing collaboration. I haven't heard this in a long time. Thank you for reacting. There was funny seeing your face when she was lying next to somebody as well LOL
You are sooo right. Love is complicated! And people make terrible mistakes. The good thing though is if 2 people have that love and will dig in at the point of that mistake it can turn out so wonderful! Mistakes don't define us. What we do after is what defenses us!!
Itâs a classic song .. my father sang this song at our family reunion Iâd played The đ„ drums
React to Cinderella - Donât know what you got till itâs gone
What a great song, with those great twists. One of the great songs of the 21st century, in my view. The Kid and Sheryl are picture perfect.
THey are great together, and seem to have so much chemistry in the song and the video, but guess what? This whole video and song were shot/cut in one day, and it was the first day they ever met! She flew to his place in MI to record this song but they had never met in person. I find that so shocking since they seem like they've known each other 4ever here.
oh you can miss it while it's sleeping right there next to you, and THAT hurts!
The man holding the guitar in the black and white picture is Hank Williams Sr
They are both just living life. Cheryl Crow is one of the women in music who says she'll never marry because she's married to her music.
Song always gives me a shiver...
Relationships are hard work, but if you are willing to invest your time in that relationship the rewards are fantastic
Definitely should do âonly god knows whyâ by kid rock
00:55 They feel the need to censor that part... "Been fueling up on cocaine and whisky"...
Bruh her reaction when kid rock hit that high key note was unbelievable
He does have a "Crisp in Tone" voice... But her voice is too good! Kid Rock wrote this song. Talented guy.
