Let's watch this video and dissect how the power is made, and what all we did to make this power.
Just a quick heads up, we DID NOT add boost on this. Same setup that ran the 9.70 @ 153mph is on the dyno. All we did in between runs was cool it down and add ice on the last 2 passes. We enjoyed this session and cannot wait to add a proper tire setup on this car to be vicious contender out there!

Man, don’t listen to the hate. It wasn’t a mistake. The cars are great my dad and my brother both own one and they’re great cars.
I noticed the Caprice on the hoist at 4:00. There are a couple of factory mods to make it look more agressive. Caprice parts are cheap in Australia and not sort after like SS or HSV parts. Anyway the best looking is the WN ii 2013-17 as it has the trunk lip spoiler. Everything else is the same down to 2007 when they came out as the WM. Except for the lower grade model called the WM Statesman 2007-10 (no WN in 2013). The US ones were more of a stateman as they have a different 'lower grade' lower bumper and the statesman sideskirts (they don't flare our where they meet the front wheel) giving them a less sporty look. Also no colour coded mirrors or chrome door strips leading onto the rear bumper. One thing the statesman got over the caprice is the grill. Chrome for statesman. Looks much better. So if anyone has a caprice in the US. Go for the Aussie statesman grill, Aussie caprice lower bumper with the fog lamps and out-flaring, and the outflaring sideskirts off our caprice. I know I said the US caprices were more statesman like. They still got the caprice grill though which depending on who you ask looks less premium. If anyome wants photos you can see the wikipedia article. The most bad ass WM is the HSV Grange. It's like the AMG for Holden. I think no Americans know about the Grange. I think if they know HSV they know there was a GTS, Clubsport and Maloo. Probably not the Grange tho based on the Statesman/Caprice.
This is just freaking amazing!!!! Building my business still so one day it runs itself and man what a vehicle this would be once it is!

There is no concern.. It will be gone by the time the first turbo is installed. lol I would suggest people wait for a few 1000mi to make sure there is no mfg issues. Unless you got the money to play.

@@andrewskaterrr He is asking why they dyno’d the car in 5th when it was in RWD mode and then dyno’d it in 4th on the AWD dyno. I’ve seen a few people asking this since the video is comparing horsepower figures between the two configurations. Dyno numbers vary in different gears, albeit not super significantly. I’m just curious if there was a specific reason for doing the runs like this.
Car got very squirly in 5th gear on AWD. no point on making dangerous high gear runs just to make 5hp more.

The GM engineers said the motors and transmissions driveshaft etc are not made for 1000hp threshold. So moving forward are you going to make a build that takes this into consideration ✨️? Every run down the track takes it one step closer to castospic failure. Hope your customers understand this.
There isn't a stock driveline on the planet that is made for 1000whp day in day out. That's the glory of test and tune and r&d! And believe me, the people that want this upgrade know the possible risks. It's part of racing! Build, race, break, upgrade, repeat!
Did you change any engine components? How will the transmission handle this? Did you say that you warranty this? I'm sure that the factory warranty is gone. I'm surprised that you can get more than 400 HP from adding only turbos and tuning. Which is better...turbos or supercharger?

Would you guys be able to code the head unit to adjust the power gauges?? Bc the power gauge stopped at like 600hp but it’d be crazy to see it see like 1100-1200hp gauges
He is on a stock ECU which is amazing. Maybe if they did send it to HP tuners to open up they might be able to do something, if that parameter is even allowed.

Hence why we stuck with 4th gear pulls in the remainder of the day. would show less power in 4th but much safer 😅

Bad ass, brother. Love to see it on this new hybrid platform. You said stock trans, cams etc but you did not mention if it was a stock block. I’m guessing it is stock sealed block, correct?
They did forged LPE pistons.

JUST PISTONS (literally). This block is good for 1700+ reliably. plenty fine. LT blocks are pretty robust and definitely clamps better than LSs too

Nice video. Wat is warranty for this setup in terms of miles and years. Please check supercharged eray video on youtube which I like more because it is way less exposed in terms of protecting it while parking car in a public hangout place compared to yours wherein twin turbos
are very visible on rear and if some maniac hits them hard then turbo setup is ruined. Trust me there are maniacs who scratch and do other crazy things since they are jealous of one who is driving quickest corvette. Can you offer similar supercharged setup as well besides twin turbo setup for eray
We have supercharged the most C8s in the nation. Doing superchargers on these cars are not an issue. The only reason we did a twin turbo on the eray is to showcase our newly released packages and display our talents with new parts.

Sincere question...why would ANYONE want to buy a ZORA other than it being an "investment item" like other exotics?? #WHY buy the Zora for $300k+, when you can get an E-Ray, throw B.D TT setup on it, have an ACTUAL 1000 WHEEL HP(ZORA will be 1000 CRANK HP) and then go to the track and run 8's all the while saving $200k+!!!

Why did you do the first pill in 5th gear and not 4th like you should. But the rest of the pills you did in 4th.
Car gets very squirly on 5th gear with the high speeds on AWD. No point on running on danger in high gear for 5hp more.
What size tires are on the ebay stock

Good power but for the money to build a c8 to make 1000whp. It’s so much money. Might as well build a r8. Buy a used gen 2 r8 for 150k and put 50-60k into keep trans stock and it’ll make 1200-1400whp safely. Just wouldn’t launch it lol. Or spend 9k on the clutch and launch it all day and run mid low 8s.
As a GM tech I'm definitely not buying one of these c8

I don't think it's lag as much as they're doing a pull in 4th gear from like 30mph. I don't think you'd want an aggressive hit on a dyno so they're rolling it on for a smooth pull.

What’s the point of having a hybrid at this point. The electric motor serves no purpose when you make that power. The AWD is probably the only benefit…..that being said…..this is f**kin awesome!!!!!
The electrics would be good for getting it on a trailer when the diff gives out I guess.
