I thought about moving to Tucson but ultimately decided no as there were multiple reports your municipal water was of very poor quality. No one cited this as a negative in your survey?
I lived there for two years, it’s very beautiful but starts to get hot a little after Xmas it’s unbearable at night during the summer and found myself just staying indoors all the time. The sunsets are beautiful too. I was very bored after a year because there’s nothing to do and my house in Mariana I bought dr Horton failed to tell me that the water contained plastic from the military base leaking things into the water table and my house was built on expansive soil which caused all cement to crack and houses to sink. It was very cheap but after the daughter finished college we sold and moved back to California. Will visit but never live there again.
Can I also add to your list of jobs is Pima County. My husband and I have been working for Pima County for several years now, and we love it. Is it the highest paying compared to companies like Raytheon? No, but the other benefits we receive make up for some of that. 🙂

I do not own a car and use a bike for all of my transportation needs. Traffic is never a problem for me!!
As you probably already know, Tucson is a very bike friendly city!!

Thank you for the comment. Summers are hot here for sure!! But it is a trade off. It is hard to beat our winters. ☀
