You can buy an Evolution D5 for half what the star costs and it is just as nice. The Star price is way too high. Those prices should be falling soon.
The best place to buy your cart is to buy a used one from someone who lives in the villages that is just a couple years old. You can save thousands and pay no tax.

Glad it was helpful. I’m checking out some golf cart stores outside of the Villages. I still haven’t purchased but got my eye on that Star cart.
Purchased our carts from TVGC, the 2021 is a Yamaha Quiet Tech with hard sides. The ❤other a 2015 rebuilt Yamaha, we love them both and the service has been outstanding. We liked the no pressure sales in a relaxed atmosphere.

That yellow electric with the flip up back seat and flip down flat surface is really neat. Does either configuration have golf bag holders?
They sell golf bag holders for those carts but many just bungie their clubs in the foot wells.
What's up with all the golf carts? Doesn't anyone have a screaming Harley over there?
Dont like the japanese models. Lets support america for once. I am not sure in japan allows american carts...wondering if thats so
Question: Looking to move from California, can I bring my own (electric) golf cart to the Villages or will I be required to buy one there?
You can bring your own. Just keep in mind you may need to find a person to service your cart which many of the dealers around here only service what they sell.
