"Oh, Barley. You know me so well. Better than any cat ever has. But there is a secret that I have kept from you without meaning to: I have always been a warrior. I have a loyalty to these cats, and I must fight alongside them, whatever happens."
Ravenpaw inspired so many of us with his story in the first arc. In this MAP, he is portrayed dealing with all the blame and trauma of Redtail's death. Not only that, he struggles of having his own mentor, the one who he should look at with pride and safety, wanting him dead. Still, Ravenpaw shows to try to have his approvement, to find a place on his clan.
Not only that, but Ravenpaw showed us that it is okay to find a new place if yours isn't safe. Showed us that toxic and abusive relationships like he had with his mentor must end as soon as possible.
Ravenpaw in this MAP also shows how hard is to be free from your own past, scared about the future. That healing is a long path and 'it's alright' to feel everything like this.
And, in the end, he showed us how to have a healthy relationship after everything. How you can find happiness after all. And how you can still be loyal, even though you are not with the ones you love.
I love Ravenpaw! His character development is really interesting and a lot of people can relate to his feelings and fears. I hope you guys like this MAP.

In the books, he's portrayed as a very shy and nervous cat, and no one takes him very seriously except his best friends. No one, not even his friends understand the extent of his trauma and I think it really shows how horrible it was for him, before he found barley and made a home with him. Throughout the books, he was just as braves as fireheart or graystripe, even though he was by keeping himself together like that. I love the end where he still remembers his best friends and his clan, but his mind is at ease when he passes away with barley next to him. ❤️

I think the main thing that made me respect firepaw when I first started reading the books was how he was just,, instantly ride-or-die with ravenpaw. No hesitation, no complaints or accusations, just _"alright let's smuggle you out, set you up in the kitness protection program, fake your death alright lets go lets go lets go go go-"_

He was the best in the first series because he was so passionate about what he believed in, and he wasn’t going to compromise himself for ANYONE he didn’t back 100%.
He instantly went “we’re best friends” with Ravenpaw and Graystripe
I really miss the books where it was just Firepaw, Graypaw and Ravenpaw together, the trio of friends. I will forever have nostalgia of them together and I think they were amazing characters. Ravenpaw really had a rough time at the beginning and I respect him a lot. I can't even put into words how fictional cats can have such an impact on my life.

I'm so excited! Ravenpaw is just relatable boy, his story is awsome, his character is wonderfully developet even for a side character! I love his relationship with Barley, I love that he gave us a perspective on the life of a cat outside the clan.
When I read "Ravenpaw's Farewell," I cried so much. I have a cold heart, I don't cry on books, but it was something else.
Ravenpaw has suffered a lot in his life. Someone who was supposed to be his hero, his guide.... He turned out to be a murderer. He was afraid to confess it because he knew he would be killed. But he survived with friends's help. He fell in love with Barley and they were mates for the rest of their lives. Ravenpaw is adorable and deserves all the happines.
To me HE IS NO SIDE CHARACTER. He is a piece of the story ith out him it couldn't move along which I suppose is a side character but he was my favorite and he always will be

the first time ive ever cried in a book was when i was reading the end of CrookedStars Promise. When CrookedStar said ''How can I love you when everyone I love leaves me?'' and then Oakheart replies with ''Im still here.'' I'M LITERALLY CRYING, THIS MAP IS SO BEAUTIFUL (and i'm not just saying that because i'm in it lol)
it brought back all the bittersweet feelings i had when reading Ravenpaw's Farewell. the ending of this map was so sweet, despite Ravenpaw dying. it captured that feeling so well

Oh my gosh. This is the first time I've seen a Ravenpaw map that includes his journey to skyclan and his death. I'm sad but happy it was put in.

I feel like Barley understands how he feels with his trauma because of how Barley had trauma too. I feel like Barley understands RavenPaw better then FirePaw/FireStar and GrayPaw/Stripe because of how much tie they have spent together. It is quite beautiful.
I haven't even read all the warrior cat books, but I still love this MAP. Especially how he finally let's go of all his trauma, fear, and troubles when he releases the feather

first of all, this whole thing is beautiful and so well put together and oh gosh i just love all the parts!!
second of all, my theory of the feather is that it symbolises ravenpaw's memory of tigerstar that he can't seem to let go off because sometimes fear as an emotion can get addictive or at least can turn into a trap, and when ravenpaw is scared or is in danger, he keeps defaulting to remembering tigerstar, and going back on old habits like making himself as small as possible for example, and he doesn't want to let go of his terror because it feels like protection; because what kind of danger will he be in if he lets himself relax, lets himself be caught off guard with good feelings?

This was made 1 year ago and I still love watching this over and over again. I adore Ravenpaw and it broke my heart to read the piece where he joined Barely in his barn and left ThunderClan. If only he hadn’t witnessed Tigerclaw/star killed Redtail…. Moving on, this is amazing and I love the smooth animation and the way this portrays Ravenpaw and his trauma
Tayplets's part at 1:39 with the feather was absolutely heartbreaking in the most beautiful and poetic way, his frantic scramble to hold onto the feather and barley gently reaching out to lay a paw on ravenpaw's was so well put together

I love how he carried his lil simbolic feather through the tough times, it reminded me of like a sentimental plush or really important item he would take everywhere

In my opinion, Ravenpaw was braver than Graystripe or even Firestar. He persevered through a toxic relationship and left when he knew it was more than enough for him to put up with. He was scared by his past, but not deciding his future. He had a healthy relationship and even though ThunderClan once housed the one who had wronged him, he still helped them. His story is one of letting go, leaving toxic relationships, forgiveness, knowing the past doesn’t shape your future, and not judging one by another’s actions.
Barley could have just thought, “why did some rando just walk into my house and have a mental breakdown?” And kicked Ravenpaw out

All jokes aside, this is a really amazing map. The song fits my little ravenboi so perfectly, and I love how the feather symbolizes his emotional crutch, like a teddy bear or a special pillow. This map is amazing and all its animators did an amazing job. I feel really bad for Ravenpaw and having to go through that kind of trauma, but like the song says he's okay, and he finally became safe with Barley, and he died a peaceful death beside the one he cherished most. ♡ this map

Ravenpaw truly deserves the world, his story is one of the best
This MAP had me in tears. Like ravenpaw, it took me forever to let go of my trauma. To let go of the idea that it was my fault. Thanks, Ravenpaw, for showing me its alright and it's okay.
Ravenpaw is one of my favorites, if I think about it. He deserved to be free from the constant dread, and I do not think he was a coward to leave an enviroment he felt uncomfortable in. I wish the newer books portrayed more healthy ideas like this, so far it's just Ivypool's mate (Fernsong was it?) being a tom that enjoys caring for kits and could stay behind in the nursery.
I’ve already commented, but I just can’t get enough of this! You and everyone who worked on this are incredibly talented and this MAP was something I was looking forward to for weeks and you all certainly delivered and more. I just can’t thank you enough for making this.

this is my fave map, evertime im anxious, about to cry, i always think about this map.
This map is amazing. The animation, the song and the character: Ravenpaw. I loved Raven. He was an amazing character but it’s sad to see him go. He had a Tough life and a rally wish he didn’t pass.
I love how in the map it starts out with all the trauma that ravenpaw had, and then towards the end it shows him and barley just chilling and having a good time!!!!!

This is such a beautiful map, I really love the feather and of course I love any ravenpaw maps because he’s my favourite cat along with his friends and a lot of other cats. It was so nice to see him so happy at the end with barley. I love mother mother too thanks to these maps. the animations in this are amazing and I watch this whenever i’m feeling really low because it really helps me out. what I really liked is how ravenpaw has the same bandana as barley that’s so cute. The drawings in the credits are so well done too.

Lovely map showing off Ravenpaw's character arc and appreciating it for what it is! The song fits great, and it hits me on a personal level as I have dealt with emotional trauma and still am dealing with it (anxiety, anger, depression and low self-esteem) I have trouble of looking to the future with confidence, as I (my family too) have been stuck in a rut for years, where I have been unable to achieve my dream. But I still try my best to have hope for things getting better in the crappy aspects of my life.

i just finished reading ravenpaw's farewell and immediately searched up and found this, i absolutely did not expect the story to end in such a bittersweet yet fulfilling way
the way he so eagerly help bella and riley follow their passion to become warriors is so heartwarming, and with barley there to encourage and to accompany him until his death too
he has been through much in thunderclan, even being constantly reminded of his clan life and worrying about his best friends' whereabouts after leaving thunderclan, it's great to see a happy ending for him, and for bella and riley too

This MAP, and even crow feather makes me wan't to cry cause im proud of how he could step up and finally find somewhere to call home. And like the creator of this MAP said his loyalty stil stands which makes me even more proud. For anyone like me who had to experience things like toxic realationships seeing this make me not just relate but bond with this character and i've listened to this MAP even when im sad, i guess this map cheers me up saying 'ravenpaw was strong, i can be too!' ^^
