I know there is a little scene which is'nt in the book. Leafpaw is normally with the humans when Squirrelpaw and the others return to the clan. But I was'nt able to resist to imagine the sisters so happy to get together!

This had so many scenes from the book that nobody seems to animate in maps! Squirrelpaw getting stuck in the fence, tawnypelts rat injury. I love especially the scene of stormfur delivering the bad news to grey stripe. Every participant captured the range of emotions in the arc perfectly !
I loved the mouthing graystripe “where’s feathertail” in general it’s a great MAP.
Ok that part w storm fur telling his father I missed somehow.
The best parts must’ve been how they remembered that Brambleclaw didn’t like Squirrelpaw at first, and that Tallstar was thin and had a hard journey to the lake. I frickin love that they included that.
@@miotmiot7116 I really tried hard to make him look old and thin in my part, I'm glad it was noticed and appreciated! When I was rereading the chapter to solidify my idea I realized that Tallstar was like... a day away from death at this point, and also 11 years old, so it made sense to really show how the destruction of the forest and the journey wore on him..

3:57 gave me chills. Seeing Tallstar walking weakly and suddely starting to run when Firestar calls him because they are home is just ... wow!

Awwww Firestar comforting leafpaw was too cute. I feel like often people forget what a good dad he was to the sisters because he was also leader. But he really did care about his kits.

@The Kitties as much as any other warrior cares for their kits, and beyond. u can see even after they’ve aged out of the care of their parents that firestar and sandstorm still do talk about their love for them. but it’s just the warrior cat life when a cat starts becoming an apprentice their parents usually branch off from them

Gosh this reminds me so much of those old style warriors MAPs, i miss the days of fully animated map parts, and this is a beautiful example of what I love to seen. Everyone did absolutely wonderfully.

this map is GORGEOUS and is the first map in two or three years that made me emotional

The fandom makes warriors so much better than it is, not that I don’t enjoy the books it’s just we are able to expand more on things that the Erins leave vague or just forget about.

Currently reading starlight, what a good book - a lot of people don’t like the new prophecy series because it’s just “walking” but I completely disagree. All the walking ending at the end of book 3, and plus - they learnt a lot of cool stuff a long the way
The new prophecy is probably my favorite series, would read again if I had the books
exactly. i always thought it was cool and the whole premise was a breath of fresh air. i also like the idea that dverything came full circle of the cats going from the lake to the mountians then to the old forest then back to the lake.
I think the whole journey was amazing! Exploring unknown territories is completely thrilling and a bunch of stuff could happen at any moment

In my view, the new prophecy was the best arc. Six cats different Clans formed such a strong bond together, and looking back, it's very nostalgic and emotional. I loved Squirrelflight back then, and Feathertail's death was devastating. WELL DONE!
I just... really love this MAP. I feel like it actually captures just how *young* everyone was in the books. Crowfeather, Squirrelflight, and Leafpool weren't even a year old yet, the others were just over a year old. I especially love how Squirrelflight was animated. She was such an obnoxious little shit in TNP, and it's what made me love her. It makes me so happy to see her this way, instead of a Firestar clone, or angry crying at Ashfur and Bramblestar.
I love this MAP, it's so sweet. The first half of the New Prophecy, though being considered the classic "traveling book" was so cute to me because of all the bonds, and you have captured it very well.
I also LOOVEEE the fact that you showed Tawny and Feather's relationship. The friendship gets so little recognition even in the actual books, after Feather died.

Seeing Tallstar near the end broke my heart, and I felt so happy when he started running. Amazing!
Awww. It’s perfect, you included lots of things that happened in this arc that people always forget! Squirrelpaw’s fence incident Tawnypelt’s rat injury, and the connection of Leafpaw and Squirrelpaw with the Burdock roots! I love this MAP so much! :)
Most people don’t seem to appreciate The New Prophecy, but it was essential for the start of present warrior cats. We can’t just leave it out. If we do, we are abandoning the Lake territory, a well representation of what bad we can do, Daisy, and new territory. It also it was a great showcase of new characters, and plus, was the start of the elders being characters you’ve meet before, making each elder hit harder when they join the elders den. Yes, the first Arc is better. Yes, more arcs are better. But lets appreciate The New Prophecy for bringing Warrior Cats to where it is.

#1: I love how the animators actually animated some parts in the book that no other MAP would.
#2: SquirrelPaw hugging FireStar and LeafPaw is just so sweet :3
#3: Everyone's parts are amazing! The animation is just great!
#4: Stormfur telling his father about FeatherTail, it's just so sad, that part in the book.. GrayStripe couldn't believe it.
#5: The Prophecy cats looking at the horizon on a cliff in the end is just.. amazing!
#7: Ugh, this whole thing wouldn't have happened if it weren't for those people/Twolegs! They destroyed the Clans' poor home..
Last thing: I'm just wowed by this map. People make animations as good as this, just imagine the practice! Congratulations on this masterpiece, everyone.
I stopped reading this series a while ago, didn't like the direction it was heading but I still watch maps and stuff so I don't forget, this series made me who I am, lead me to people that changed my life. this map reminded me that warriors is still going to be in my life. these are the stories I'll read my kids, new prophecy and dawn of the clans for sure. I have so many memories with these books and even if I've stopped following them they're still part of who I am.
ay, i might be quitting the main series to and sticking to super edition since they kinda just started showing abusers as good people and kinda just made ashfur evil again, he was not a good cat originaly but i thought he was redeemed when he went to starclan and the erins were like "we need a new villien, let's recycle a old one and cause contraversy"

I went to see how many cats that were still alive and in the Clans that made the journey from the old forest territories, and I counted only 16. Dang. (Correct me if I’m wrong tho)
From 3:55 - 4:00 i counted ~65 cats
Tawnypelt, Bramblestar, Crowfeather, Squirrelflight, Mistystar, Reedwhisker, Cloudtail, Brightheart, Brackenfur, Thornclaw, Birchfall, Whitewing all made the journey and are still alive (i think according to 'The Place of No Stars' book, they are all i could think of; Also I'm guessing you mean were born in Forest Territories, made the journey, stayed in the clans **cough Stormfur cough** and are still alive and living in their clans to the newest book.

he was captured by twolegs while saving Leafpaw, and he and Millie found their way to the lake after the clans arrived, so he didn't really make the journey

The New Prophecy will forever be my favorite arc. There’s just something about it that makes me so happy. The characters are so lively. Yes sometimes it’s a little slow but in a good way, like domestic bliss
Midnight was my first Warriors book.
So TNP was my first series.
For all its flaws, TNP introduced me to some religious fight cat books that ended up making who I am as a person. So this MAP made me cry a little.

I love how Blackstar is a puffball in this! He’s my favorite character and I always imagined him as very fluffy for some reason
I love all the details like when Crowpaw looks at Squirrel paw annoyed then feels comforted by them all being there. The fact they added all the details really hit me. At the the end when leafoaws smiles is beautiful i cry every time i see this MAP. You did a great job

The expressions in this are absolutely stunning! I especially loved the expressions during the great journey, it really showed how much the characters bonded, as well as all the clans moving to the lake.
This MAP moved me to tears.. the song choice, the visuals, all of it was perfectly coordinated and slingshotted me back to the time in 4th grade when I first finished The New Prophecy..
I spent the last summer travelling the Northern US with my father, seeing old towns and homes he lived in, and this MAP simply brought back a flood of those memories of our heartfelt discussions, memories in the mountains, and sightseeing. I couldn't help but resonate with the characters as they crested the hills and saw a beautiful landscape ahead of them.. This was nothing short of incredible to me, wonderful job to all involved.

Omg... this brings me back... i wish i still had the ability to sit down and just read a book for hours.. but adhd and anxiety took that from me.. i remember the days when i would read Warriors ALL THE TIME.. at home, during school, in the bus.. anywhere, anytime.. i still remember some of the story but i’ve forgotten most of the names, which is really sad.
The art in this is amazing! All of the artists that worked on it did really well! Thank you for making this! I honestly almost forgot these books even existed. So thank you for reminding me of a large part of my childhood that i had nearly forgotten about. ❤️

This map captured a lot of events in the journey that most people forget. The emotion and the song were perfect to!
I really liked how you included squirrelpaw (at the time) forcing herself to go with brambleclaw at the beginning. Squirrelpaw getting stuck in the fence (it made me laugh), tawneypelts injury, feathertails death…(made me cry) and the the ending when firestar willed tallstar to keep going.
This was such a beautiful map!
This is one of the most memorable books from the series I remember, and this MAP captured all of it perfectly.

I haven’t interacted with the Warriors fandom for a long while (honestly not sure why this was in my recommended), but this blew me away. This is the best Warriors map I’ve ever seen! The song and the designs and the animation! It’s all so good! Y’all clearly put in a lot of hard work, and it paid off! I loved seeing all of y’all’s different art styles too!

When Feathertail died I started crying because she sacrificed for Crowpaw witch made her death 10 times sadder but this was so well done, I couldn’t tell if I was laughing or crying by the end of the video
You know, I honest to god love this arc best. There's something near and dear to my heart about a little party like these five out on a quest to far off lands.

I DIDNT KNOW IT WAS FINISHED UNTIL NOW HOLY HECK I LOVE THIS SO MUCH ITS GORGEOUS!! Everyone did such a stunning job and this is hands down a firm favourite of mine now. The palettes are beautiful and it really gives me the same nostalgic vibes that the older warriors maps also gave me with the fully animated scenes and realistic backgrounds. (We All Still Die, Wolf, Five Giants, King, etc) there were also a lot of animators I didn’t recognise, which was a nice change.

Everyone did their part so well! It portrays the New Prophecy so well, how the cats bonded ovee the journey. The New Prophecy will always remain as one of my favourite series
OMG THIS MAP IS ABSOLUTLEY BEAUTIFUL! Some parts even made me cry! I just feel so stinkin bad for CrowPaw/Feather about Feather’tail… omg when u see her helping TawnyPelt, omg that part made me cry, poor FeatherTail. Like- what did she do to deserve dying and never seeing her father for a long time! She never even got to say goodbye… poor GrayStripe.. but still this map is so beautiful, and amazing job, animators. Amazing job.

I think this is going to become one of my favorite MAPs. I really love TNP (I feel like a lot of people think it's boring, but I loved it) and I LOVE all the animation in this. I feel like everyone did great with both subtle movements and lots of action, lots of emotion, and it was just so smooth overall. The parts showing Twolegs jarred me a little - not in any bad way at all, but simply because they're practically never shown in MAPs so I wasn't expecting it - and I feel like it perfectly accentuated the jarring, "foreign" experience of the Twolegs tearing apart the clans' home that the cats must have felt. (hopefully that makes sense lmao) All the artists did a fantastic job!
This... this almost made me cry. Midnight was the first Warriors book I read, because silly me saw the "one" on the spine and thought it was the first book in the franchise (I had no idea there were, now, 100+ books!) 10 years and many many books later, I've read all the arcs (including going back to the OG), and none of them have captured the nostalgic feel of The New Prophecy. Say what you want about the pacing or the characters, but these 6 cats had a special bond (and a special place in my heart), and they impacted the rest of the Warriors story to follow (i.e. arriving at the lake). This arc took its time with little character moments, and even though it seemed like they walked forever, that was because they WERE. And Like the Fellowship of the Ring, it had to be shown, and the characters bonding on their journey was a staple of this arc. These characters are still my favorite in the current Warriors timeline, and this reminded me that they're all old now... and so am I. I felt like a kid again watching this. Thank you all for capturing that feel!
Exactly!! Peoe are always like "ugh it's just walking for 3 books" Yes, that's the POINT! The 6 cat's had to form a bond and learn to trust eachother and help each other during the journey. Otherwise the clans wouldn't have survived. Sure, Starclan could've just told the clanleaders to move to the lake, but the clans could never have gotten there while seperated.
I’ve never read the books but always had a strong interest in warrior cats. I feel like I learn so much from these!

I feel like I hear this series mostly talked about as "walking with more walking and some cool stuff and more walking" yet out of the first three series it was the one I loved reading the most. I remember I read it really fast and felt a LOT of emotion for them all and I think its because so much focus was on their relationships together and how it FELT for each character. Idk I love this MAP, easily one of my top favorites now

this perfectly sums up the dynamic I wish the cats that went on the journey had, I mean I wish we had a little more interaction with them after the journey like some semblance of a connection in bonding over death or something XD

This is one of the most beautiful maps I've ever seen. Something about how you really chose to focus on the actual narrative of this arc really hit home (no pun intended) in a way that I don't think it does with other maps as much. What I mean is it really felt like you spent enough time focusing on each plot and character beat and developed them all well, the scene with Tallstar just as they reached the lake had me tearing up. Every single part it this was beautiful to watch, thank you.

This is beautiful and I remember seeing some of the map parts and getting so excited! Also I LOVE the showing of ALL the title picture competitions as well as the chosen reference sheets. Thank you all this was beautiful and I will be showing this to my friends that have just finished half this season. MAPs are the reason my non-reading friends have gotten so interested in warriors.

And that's why the "Dawn" is my favorite book. Four clan, cats, that often fights each other - comes to new home together as one. "The new prophecy" stays on 3-d place of my top favorite arcs. First is "The prophecies begin", second is "Dawn of the clans "

I really liked tNP seriously all the books were good to me (even if they took a wile to get to the point sometimes) I mean even though its also a bit forgotten bc it just fits perfectly with OoTS and PoT I still really liked it
Ah this MAP is so good! The animation was beautiful and I love how the map mainly focused on the characters relationships alongside plot, it was all conveyed so well this is phenomenal 💕💕
Also the “book of the MAP” part was really neat hehe
