The owl can pass through (or reside in) both the spirit world and the natural world So in season 2, they'll probably meet him again in the desert (library scene hopefully) (Very important ep they'd be nuts to skip it😭), and Sokka and Katara will be able to hear him speak then. 🦉 Someone made a joke that he was just passing through, like a mini vaycay in the Spirit World before he goes back to work😂
One of the reasons so many fans didn't like this episode is that it mushed together too many things from too many episodes, didn't develop any of them, and some things didn't make sense. It comes across as a mish-mash of chaos. But, as you noted, there are certain things that seem better given a little time. Personally I strongly disliked what they did to Bumi in episode 4, but my best friend has the often repeated view that what they did is more realistic ... and it kind of makes sense so I'm kind of coming around. Don't feel bad about over analyzing scenes, I was doing the same thing whilst watching the first time. I kept talking back to the TV "That's not how that happened" or what not 🙂 But you will really enjoy the last three episodes I think. They're really good. The finale is ... amazing.
The Ozai and Azula scene is more of Ozai manipulating Azula more, making her think that Zuko is more than her. Later in the episodes, especially Ep 8, you'll find that Ozai is feeding Azula all of these words so we can finally see the Azula we've known in the cartoons. Please hurry up with the upload, I've always liked the way your reactions, praises and criticisms.
This show has just guaranteed the 2010 movie a name. Personally the only the difference between this and the movie is one it was a movie and two technological advancements. The rest is the same
