“Nothing gets hard if you love to do it.” Wisdom from the Spicy Nonna.
Three generations working together with joy and happiness, this could happen ONLY among GREAT ITALIANS. ❤❤❤❤❤
Best moment: "OK Nonna, calm down!" while Nonna has the calmest, steely resolve while beating the hell out of the eggs. 😁 Nonna knows what time it is. It's egg banging time!
😂She's a hoot!
Hahahah😂 I adore her !
Intense nonna💪♥️😁
I'm from Italy, I can assure that Spicy Nonna is a good cook! Keep on with your food channel, we all need good education about how to eat well!
I love watching Nonna and Nonna Jr. bicker! 🤣
Nonna is an expert. Doesn't matter how small the bowl is, she will make it work ❤🤗 My Nonna made the best meatballs. I miss her 🥺BYW Julian I like the mustache!
Great comment👍 Nonna's got everything under control. I wish that the daughter wouldn't stress so bad and just enjoy this time with her mama. I feel a bit sad for her😔
Whenever I see a new Spicy Nonna video, it makes my day!
Much love from Raleigh, NC!
I love your family. Your videos are so awesome, thank you guys.
I enjoy Italian Wedding Soup. Now I can make it for myself. Thank you.
My favorite soup
I love y'all's family so much! Thank you for making this Julian
This makes me miss my little Italian grandma so much ❤
What an absolutely lovely video! Your soup looks amazing. I have never heard of using the beaten eggs and cheese in the soup. I was expecting to see spinach or some other kind of greens, the way canned “Italian Wedding Soup” sometime has. Anyway, thanks for the tasty video!
Love watching multiple generations cook together. The soup looks delicious.
Beautiful family. So Blessed❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
Sentimental about the multi generations cooking together ❤️🌹❤️ Excellent 🌹❤️🌹
God bless you and your family always!
No way would I EVER tell my beloved Mom to "Calm Down", she would still back hand me, lol. Bless Nonna. "ISA"
This looks absolutely delicious.
I’m going to have a go at making this sometime this week. If it’s half as good as this one looks, I’ll be happy. Thank you so very much for sharing♥️♥️♥️
I like how Julian called out Nonna’s “black peppers”…
I love your family!!
I make wedding soup the same way however I add spinach as well, it’s so delicious, I love this soup😋 TYFS, have a blessed day my sweet friends🙏♥️💫✨👼🏻✨💫♥️
I was waiting for them to add the spinach!
My mom taught me how to make meatballs. She said you mix the ingredients with your hand like a claw. I taught this way to my children too. Looks delicious, as usual!❤
I was 7 y. old when I was assigned to rolling these mini meatballs. They had to be the size of a marble, but I’d get tired and they’d get bigger and bigger! “Ce vo la volonta!” Yep! That’s for sure Nonna!
I love Nonna !
Love you guys!! 👋🇨🇦
Lovely moments! Thank you for sharing! 🙏🏼
Beautiful family thank you for sharing 😊

This soup was always a staple in our home growing up. Especially after Thanksgiving with turkey stock....which I still do to this day.
Love this family!❤
Thank you. I would love Nona’s chicken stock recipe, please. It looks like Italian Penciillian. Love from Ft. Myers, SWFL, USA…
Such beautiful women in this family. Take charge, smart and VERY talented. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season. Warm wishes from Minnesota. ❤
Such a good day for soup 🍲 it’s cold 🥶 out looks yummy 😋 ❤
Nonna knows gravity dynamics when it comes to beating eggs for sure~🥚😁 I can almost tast the soup from here and it's delicious!🍲🤤🥰
My mother added escarole to the soup. She also made soft cheese bread which she cut in cubes and added. This is the best soup by far!!
Looks delicious! I usually put escarole and mine also
Yum!
I need to make this!
I enjoy this soup.
Thank you for sharing. 😊 ❤
It's so good!
I' ll be making this soup, it looks delish. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge Nonna. Big hugs for the 3 of you😊
Looks really good 👍
Seriously legit Italian food, made with Nonna Love. Not a better bite anywhere on Earth. Betcha. ❤️
this was soothing
Garlic is not OK for dogs. It has been known to cause a severe type of anemia in some cases, so vets don't advise it be given ever. Love you guys.
That’s my favorite make me feel good when I’m sick soup ❤
We always add escarole. Also, we pour the stracciatella in very slowly, a drizzle, while stirring the pot, making strings in the soup. Delizioso!!! Bella famiglia! Grazie! ❤
That’s what I think you’re supposed to do.
What a beautiful soup!
How about some minnestroni? I would love to try that one homemade. And Nona’s recipe. Thank you
Ooooh my goodness que delicioso se ve esa sopa, muchas gracias por compartir las deliciosas recetas de su linda familia. Muchas saludos y bendiciones desde Miami Florida 🙏🙏
she should take her rings off to do that mixing...love Nonna videos
She is Italian, the gold always adds flavour
I love watching yout family cook. Always looks delicious, while having the family together. Im Canadian, and my moms family is lebanese, a lot of the way that your nonna prepares food and always thinking of family to feed, reminds me of my mom, and when my grandma (situ) was still here. So great to see.
Omg, that looks so good! I love Italian Wedding Soup❤️
I am new to your channel, and of course I subscribed 🎉!! I absolutely adore all of you!! What a wonderful beautiful family. Watching you guys cook and watching Nonno do all kinds of cool things, puts a smile on my face every time. Can’t wait for more videos.
That recipe seems awesome! Ty for sharing, kept saying I bet that kitchen smells amazing! :)

Nonna is getting a bicep workout in that meat 😊🌷
Nonna is adorable 🌷These precious moments being captured on video are a treasure 🌷
beautiful chicken broth🌷delicious soup especially good in these cold winter months 🌷 precious family 🌷
I punch the meat as well...no one taught me either. I was just about to say, where's the garlic? Love your family. Nonna is a treasure.❤
That looks delicious!!!
So good!
It looks delicious!
Ok I’m hungry I gotta eat something that soup looks good
Love that family
Saluti dalla Sicilia!!❤❤❤
That looks so good.
Stracciatelli is a soup unto its own,Italian Pennicillin..also known as sick soup..great for anyone especially kids with flu or colds..The wedding soup usually ends with escarole added once soup boils..and the broth is usually clear chicken broth..i actually like the daughters idea of blending the carrots, celery onion used in making the chicken broth,i will try that..also make homemade croutons to top each bowl serving..This soup is usually Christmas Day dinner staple before turkey ham and ravioli..
Nonna tackles that bowl😂💪❤
❤❤❤❤❤
Ladies, it's not a competition.
Well..... 😂😂
Nonna's got everything under control. I wish that the daughter wouldn't stress so bad and just enjoy this time with her mama. I feel a bit sad for her😔 I promise it truly doesn't matter. The soup will be delicious no matter if some eggs spilled onto the counter.
Thank you❤
Dont for get nonno ! In the garden !😂
Its funny. You started making meatballs, and i screamed, "Garlic! No you forgot garlic!" 😂😂❤❤
😂
She does it with Love! ❤
❤
"I think you forgot the garlic here... sei proprio rimbambita" 🤣🤣 I love your nonna ❤ Greets from Italy 😘
Let Nona do it ❤❤
It's nice and cold here in central NY, this is going on the menu for dinner this week.
Perfect! 😋
Sprinkle some parm on that soup. Yummmm.
Vanessa in two😅😅😅
Aw Gigi! Saw her on Ms. Vanessa's channel. ❤
Where in Italy is your Nonna from? My grandma taught me how to do "egg and cheese" in soup when I was a teen (a long time ago. lol) She always said mixing of egg was all in the wrist. I have been making soup that way ever since. All chicken/turkey broth based soup gets it... In fact I just did it yesterday. So glad I found your channel. It reminds me of my grandma who's been gone 20 years.
Afiyet olsun❤
A warning for novice cooks: mixing the meat by hand is COLD AF!!!!
Be ready to stop to wash your hands in warm water if they are freezing after a few minutes of mixing. (This is like the idea of taking a bath in milk: unless it's heated, it's probably going to be way too cold for you to do for very long.)
Thank you for that tip!
After watching this video, I wonder if Nonna has a secret right hook. And the soup looks delicious!
Oh yes! 😂 Thanks for watching!
Hi Nonna, & family ( sorry I don’t know your names to address you properly) this soup on a day when you need energy & your really busy , is perfect, I enjoyed watching this video very much. Love Katherine xoxo
I've heard that the "Italian Wedding Soup" served in the US is not authentic at all. It is not served at weddings in Italy, nor is even well known in Italy. There is a similar soup in Italy with meatballs, but it has different ingredients (maybe heavier?). Does Spicy Nonna remember eating this in Italy growing up, or was it a different recipe and not associated with weddings? Maybe she can comment in future videos as to whether these dishes are authentic to her childhood or whether they're really a North American version. (Not that there's anything wrong with Italian food on this side of the Atlantic, but a lot of travelers would be shocked to find how different the menu is when they arrive in Italy.)
If it's home made by an Italian Nonna, i'll consider it authentic...I'm sure i'd have other things to enjoy when i'm in Italy.
@Collie.
You are quite correct.
I could write my post in english but i prefer it in italian. Much easier for me. Hope google could traslate for you.
Cucinare vuol dire fantasia e creatività e quindi va tutto bene.
Ciao a tutti
Antonio from Rome - Italy
😊👍
Most "experts" say not to overmix the meat. Says it makes the meat tough.
Nonna said "Ill Show you tough!"
As she beats that meat mixture into submission
mmmm…. Now I’m off to make soup….
You can add escorle to the broth for a traditional wedding soup along with everything else except the eggs
I’m new here and would like to know the exact recipe for the Italian wedding soup. Is there a link to that somewhere? Thank you very much!
You know it's funny because I was actually thinking, wait where's the garlic in those meatballs? When it comes to garlic Nonna adds it to EVERYTHING? that and Italian seasoning and olive oil!!
We put escarole and boiled eggs in our wedding soup! 😊
Nonna is the expert ❤️ Who cares if the bowls to small no big deal just wipe it up❤
Absolutely!
It's a little different than the wedding soup I make. But I think each region is different
Is "Italian Wedding Soup" an American Italian thing or does it come from a particular region of Italy. I'm curious because my family is from the province of Palermo in Sicily and we've never heard of a wedding soup.
Nonnas rings have seen some things
😂😂😂😂
Achi de pepe I make it the same way😊
