About Married with Children:
The less-than-lovable Bundys are a radical departure from the saccharine-sweet TV families popular since the days of Father Knows Best. With offbeat humor and unflinching honesty, Married... paints a more realistic picture of middle-class existence, warts and all. Al Bundy (Ed O'Neill) is a shoe salesman who is fond of frequently reliving his doubtful 15 seconds of fame on the football field. Al is terrified of the all-too-frequent amorous advances of his ditsy wife Peggy (Katey Sagal), who spends most of Al's wages at the salon and the mall. They have two teenage kids: stunning but superficial party animal Kelly (Christina Applegate) and egocentric Bud (David Faustino). Married for 16 semi-blissful years, Peggy and Al have found that the secret to a happy marriage is to accept one another's idiosyncrasies.

Al and Peg.
They can’t live with each other,
but they can’t live without each other.
Isnt that a saying?
Al could live without Peg, just like Steve did with Marcy, but not the other way around. Too bad this episode was written by SNL rejects
With or without you...
Al’s saying was...
“Women, can’t live with them...”
Then a long pause followed by nothing
To paraphrase the works of Reel Big Fish, love is the condition wherein you despise everything you used to like about someone, and the only thing worse than living with them is the thought of going on without them.
We laugh,
But Al is probably 100% right with his theories.
Never married still have single gene.
Him and Red Forman.
I was married & single now and loving every second of it
Well its an interesting possibility.. bieng married is not all it cracked up to be .i just havent got the heart to destroy her . She major bread winner and life aint a sit com.
same here, the only + marriage this days offers is Children. everything else single life is much better.
@@williamdolyniuk7804 sounds like you hit the jackpot bro
Me too. I love it. I'm NEVER getting married again.
@@williamdolyniuk7804 just remember if she is the major breadwinner and yall do get divorced she owes YOU alimony isn't equality fun
You never know what you had until you lose it.
Those two kids will one day save the rainforest.
I like the theory that Al and Peg breakup for good, Al moves to a new city, starts his own business, then marries, Sofía Vergara.
And have a cute weettle boy together!😅
That would be a modern interpretation.
@@davidmommerency4589 😂
Wholly disagree
They should've kept this going for a few more episodes
I just noticed a continuity error. Peg was holding the raw steaks on a plate and now she is holding an empty plate and the steaks are on a plate above the oven. She didn't move to put them down.
Al spitting facts here
I swear I saw every single episode… I don’t remember this one.
Same, I think this was towards the final episodes
Yeah, this was a three-parter in the final season.
He wears a wig, butt push up bra, and each time the airplane lands the ceiling releases plaster.
John Box, no way! Al and Peggy complete each other and love each other, even if it seems they don't! I am agreeable to Al starting his own business!
There is an odour coming from that water bed scares even me.... :D
Classic at it FINEST
This was great, I loved the one where the kids are eating toaster snackem's too.

I love this show soooooo much. I was regulary watching it last years at the Internet. But... I am distraught...
All episodes vanished 😭😭😭
It is on Hulu
I own the whole series on DVD. It never vanishes
@@tonylester6820DVDs and VHS tapes are the best.
Every one of my teenage chums (in the eighties) has been married and divorced at least once some twice. They used to think I was weird 'cos I liked being on my own, now I'm envied and hear the phrase 'dodged a bullet' frequently.
Isn't it just like that? You go to the grocery store, and you run into the last person in the world you want to meet.
Yeah. It's called working in retail.
@@owlbelieveit6811 Ha, ha, yeah, if you're working in the store, it's like that every day. Sorry about that!
WTH is the clerk doing at 2:20??? A chicken strut in honor of Marcy?
i need to see the rest of this one !!!!
Wow! I've never seen this episode. I saw all of them when they aired in the 90s.
It was a 3 part episode when Al and Peg break up
Final season here.
Poor Kelly. Her clothes were all threadbare so you could almost see through them. They sure fit her well though.
That isn't the only thing that was threadbare.
@@GeorgeMonet Could be, could be.🙂👍
his life is better without Peg. she makes things 100x more miserable. he could have gone to community college for free and made something of his life.

He did, he was a mighty athlete!

Hello…???
NEVER KNEW THERE WSS A SUCH EPISODE ON THE MARRIED W/ CHILDREN SERIES WERE AL & PEG WERE SEPERATED
Probably because it was the last season, which wasn't liked by many.
Al never loved Peggy
I love Al
society will never allow a show like this again
Thank a democrat
And Al ended up with Gloria !
that last scene 😆😆
Took me by surprise. 😅
I never seen this episode
The show was well past its prime at this point. You didn't miss much.
Final season, where the show was really nearing its end.
funny how they brake up and Al, the owner of the house, is the one that moves out
Thats pretty common in real life, actually.
Lol she’s the first person cooking in the dishwasher
Thought she would impress with sous vide steak
I would like to know how she is going to pay the bills with out his pay check?
love it rofl hahahahahaha
Best advice for guys
Wow
He sure reminds me of Cleveland on Family Guy
3:55 😆😆😆
Marcy was right . Al got knocked out with one punch it looks like & other then that nothing new . He sells shoes & drinks & starves 😁
Silly episode. Al would be in 7th heaven 😁
He loved Peggy.
Al bundy is a god
Peg, in that outfit? va va va *voooooom!*
You should check her outfits in season 2 premiere (where the family went to Poppys on vacation), the Jim Jupiter episode (season 4) or the WW2 AC episode (season 5)
@MickeyMouseLovesPam it doesn’t have to it’s more attractive that way to me at least
Yeah, I always preferred Peggy too. Kelly's dumb blond stereotype persona always bored me.
Big Red is so HOT 🔥
not an objective evaluation;
she's also carrying 2 giant ribeyes
Chicken legs I didn't even know a chicken doing grocery shopping

These later season episodes seem lacking.
You can't tell the way they went through behind the scenes.

It ain’t marriage…it’s WHO ya marry now…
All would be my best friend
I want that apartment
ik right it has a chill look to it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What I picked up from this is that marriage changes you forever. And not in a good way.
So do yourselves a favor and never fall into this trap.
Al's 100% right?
🤣🤣

Big Red is so HOT 🔥

Al Bundy for President....Steve for Vice President.....Jefferson for Governor....Griff for Mayor.....Ike for Secretary of Defense ....Bob Rooney for Secretary of State....
And Officer Dan for Secretary of Justice.
Bob Rooney for secretary of the interior remember he got stuck in al walls trying find the wire to that light switch
Al pays for everything but Peg keeps the house? Marriage is just a punishment for men
Probably because of the kids.
depressing
pat and kelly are both so hot
Is that black dude it in the middle Darrell from the office?
😂🤣
Women give us so many problems the next woman doesnt want to deal with them
My girl is a nag
This show should have stopped before this season.
Well in 2022... marriage isn't worth it for any man.
The show started going downhill around the 10th season
It had a different dynamic once Ron Leavitt & Michael Moye left.
It started subtly since season 4 but became visible around season 6. Season 8-9 onwards... just on autopilot
Thinking more about it, I think the show started going downhill when Kelly cut her hair.
@@adamcohen1474 When Christina's emotional damage finally took over. I would even dare to say she made a deal with the devil when she auditioned for the show.
Strange fact: a good chunk of audience stopped watching it when that happened. So much for eyecandy I suppose
@@raghost15 and my comment had nothing to do with her looks. Just confidential that the shows writing got worse at the same time she cut her hair.
PEG NEED A JOB , AND SHE NEED GO SHOPPING AND BUY FOODS MILK BREAD EGGS A LOT OF THING MAP , WASH KIDS THING , KELLY NEED A JOB ,
You need to learn proper English sentence structure
Why? That’s how Kelly would say it.
TARZAN NEED WORDS , ENGLISH AND HE NEED SCHOOLING AND LEARN HOW COMMUNICATE A LOT OF THING PLANET ,CHEETAH NEED CHEETOS ,
This makes more sense!
The 3 part break up episode proves the show should've ended a long time ago. It shows that little to no character growth trait that's so present throughout the show
Griff was divorced so he should've given Al some advices to move on with his life
They should have showed that Peggy was entering menopause, some hormonal unbalance... this plot is too farfetched. And why was Al the one that had to leave the house? Peggy does less than nothing, it's too unbelievable.
@@redacted2275 Quoting from trivia:
"The taping of this episode [part 1] was delayed after an earlier, more serious draft of the script was deemed unsuitable. Earlier drafts of the script featured Al instigating the break-up after Peggy admits that she lied about being pregnant to make him commit to marrying her"
Yeah, this plot is too farfetched. Maybe if it was during season 5 or 6, it would have been an interesting turning point
@@raghost15 why ? And looking back it was a confused final season.
@@redacted2275 "And why was Al the one that had to leave the house? Peggy does less than nothing, it's too unbelievable."
Thats actually not uncommon at all in real life. And, of course, when the couples legally divorce, she can't afford the bills & taxes. And so she sells the house within a few years tops.
@@lexkanyima2195 The problem with the last season was they had different writers and producers running it and they cut down on the recurring characters that had helped the show in the previous 2 seasons. Also, Kelly was too stupid this final season. Christina must've been making a lot of money which was why she didn't complain.
marcy became a producer the last seasons in this show... and it ruined one of the greatest show ever.. just like feminists are doing now in 2022... one franchise after another..
She did not become a producer on this show. She directed episodes starting in season 6 but that's it.
I hated this era, I'd rather have a seven spinoff show if we could erase the split from MWC history
How ?
It wasn’t really an era. They were split up for three episodes. Seven lasted almost a whole season and was way worse.
When they brought in Seven. They jumped the shark.
Why dose it sound like he’s gonna have a stroke or has already had one?
