The thing about mha and truama, is that the characters go through some tragic things but it still feels weightless. Like watching Shigarakis past or even Midoriyas, it feels like something is missing. Midoriya's past seems so overlooked because of how HE himself handled it. So people are like, "it wasnt that bad." And sometimes i agree because deku makes it seem like it was just annoying. But thats a bad way of thinking. And i wished that Horikoshi put more emotional depth on the other terrible pasts like he did with Dabi and Nagant. Watching shigarakis past, it was truamatic obvi, but for some reason it didnt feel that way. Like i felt more sympathy than empathy unlike how i did for dabi. If you get what i mean, sorry for the long random paragraph🗿💃
True that, I agree with you.. especially since izuku and shigaraki's past trauma, they just 'showed what happen' they didn't show their own pov like dabi and lady nagant.. because if you watch again, you'll realize that they didn't dig deep into what's izuku's feeling and all sorts just like shigaraki's but when it was dabi's turn, they totally focus on his pov in his past which is why it makes us feel sad for his past more than the others.
I think they’re gonna touch on both of their traumas more since… manga reasons. But I do get what you’re saying! It might be intentional on Shigaraki’s part since it relieved him to kill his family, and he couldn’t remember doing so for years, so getting those repressed memories back just made him more excited to reshape the world to his liking. Cant say as much for Izuku, though, since… yeah. But again, I’m hoping they make them both talk about their issues and how they *feel* during the final battle since I have a sneaking suspicion they’ll team up, at least a little bit
seeing deku just tossing his past away like it's nothing makes me feel... wrong. Horikoshi potrayed some characters' emotions so good but he forgets some too T-T
i really wish horikoshi would add some more depth to some of the characters trauma, kinda like how kirishima and mina are kinda affected by middle school, and how the todoroki's are being handled at the moment. but at the same time it also makes sense because everyone process trauma diferently, some wish they could do something in return (dabi), some wants to change themselves for the better (kiri) and some just acts like it never happened or let it go (deku and shiggy) ive been given lots of shit by life, sexual abuse/domestic abuse/bullying/stalking/identity theft/etc. you name it and im sure i have it 💀💀 and through all of those i just tend to let it happen while it does, and when it passed i still think of it but it doesnt directly effect me as much as ppl assume it would. while i love to see trauma actually being handled correctly in anime, i love how hori has a diversity of reactions when it comes to it
Izuku and Tomura are similar yet so different. They both wanted to be a hero. Both had not the best childhood. Both were betrayed somewhat (Katsuki technically speaking betrayed Izuku and their friendship, and Tomura was betrayed by his sister). The difference is that - one of them had a quirk. The other one had at least someone that could kinda support him. Tomura lost his hope in people that said "a hero will come" and they never came, while Izuku bottled it up and was admiring heroes. Only a villain shown up to help Tomura, while a hero shown up to help Izuku.
@@zitoucan Izuku - has a father, though he probably doesn't know what he does, Izuku's case is not as bad as Tenko's case, but still there could be a feeling of betrayal (though maybe also understanding). About betrayal in Tenko's case, it's more about the fact that his sister rat him out, though they both knew that their father is not the best, so they were probably somewhat prepared to his shit. About hero society - my first comment stands correct, though if I need to add something to your - he lost hope in society itself, the fact that no-one helped him and stated something along the lines that "a hero will come", though his hate for heroes should be higher than his hate to normal citizens (he would still kill them without batting an eye, thanks to how AFO and Garaki raised him)
This is something I think about a lot but no seems to mention: Izuku nearly died from the sludge villain. It could have killed him. Yet when it got Bakugou, he ran STRAIGHT TOWARD the thing THAT ALMOST KILLED HIM not even an HOUR before that. He ran straight in KNOWING he could die and probably would die and just didn't care as long as it gave Bakugou a chance to live. He absolutely deserves respect for that. If Izuku is suicidal, I imagine he treats it like a video game: If he steps off a roof he gets no points, if he saves someone he gets 50 points, if he takes down a powerful villain he gets 100 points, and if he beats All for One he wins automatically; and isn't winning the game worth his life?
I love it when videos like these come out. I specifically love the Villains React ones because I love to see them go from "This kid has the best life he could ask for!" to "Holy sh*t this kid has trauma, how can he still smile this big??"
I feel like if MHA actually paid more attention to Izuku’s backstory and how much stuff like that can really affect a person, he would’ve chose to be a villain. I know that people can be optimistic but it would be very hard to stay positive all the time if you were physically and mentally abused every day for being quirkless, something you would be for the rest of your life (if it weren’t for All Might). It just feels as if Izuku took the bullying way too lightly and they could’ve added more story to it but instead they just threw his whole backstory out the window and made him act like he didn’t put up with torture ever since he was 4 years old.
There's something called options shiggy, there's something called morals as well, just because he wants to hurt someone deep deep down doesn't mean it's right to do it, just because people treat you like shit doesn't mean you should hurt them back like that
Shigaraki had different circumstances which led him to become a villain because the only person that helped him was all for one and deku had his mom still and at the end all might decided to help him, you got put yourself into the character’s perspectives
Izuku was not bullied......he was tortured...for over 10 years by a person proclaiming they would be the next number 1 hero. He was abused, S baited, assaulted, threatened, name called, had people use their quirks to harm/torture him, belittled...by children, teens and adults (teachers, etc). Yet, he had his KeyStone, his Mother. Chances are, he told her nothing of reality because of her relationship to Mitsuki as well as it would add stress to her (I know that feeling and action). He held tight to his own morality and hope. Yes, he seemed to forgive too easily, BUT did he actual forgive? Or did he see that not saying he forgave and holding that trauma effected himself badly? Sometimes, you HAVE to look beyond, to slot the wrongs away, for your own mental health and future. Shiggy had a back past...yes. BUT no one was there to support him, no hero or person saved him...a villain who mentally manipulated him came along and used him like his own personal tool. Ever wonder how Shiggy kept getting 'found' or 'returned' when he would run away? Someone was watching. Someone was waiting for his tool to be ready. Shiggy was quirkless too until the time was right. One would think that, in a society of mainly people with powers, who ignore technological progress cause 'quirks', someone did not stop and think...'what is our greatest threat?'......a quirkless, intelligent villain. Who need a quirk when guns can stop a quirked hero forever. One by one or in a group....pop goes the heros. You do not even have to be there......a few auto turret type guns and the push of a button when a group of heroes respond to an areas.....so many quick and easy ways to deal with 'powers'.
I have the same opinion of Bakugo as I have of Endeavour. I do not hate them but I cannot completely forgive them as well. Don't get me wrong I am very much happy about Bakugo having a good character development and becoming a better person. And but it's never an excuse to bully and hurt someone over your own weakness specially su*ic*ide baiting the other person, especially a person you have known your whole life. What makes it worse, the reason why Bakugo hated Midoriya was because when,he was a kid he fell off a shallow river, and when Midoriya tried to help him,he thought Midoriya was looking down on him. The weak "useless" quirkless nobody, offered help to the talented quirk blessed popular Bakugou, he snapped and that's when the bullying really began. Bakugou saw Midoriya's extend for help as a taunt of weakness to Bakugou.

Really dark and sad that even if they are starting to mend which is good I still wished Bakugo got some sort of consequence but glad that Bakugo and Izuku friendship is healing.
Because kids are very cruel in middle school. Sadly, it’s not rare to see a kid committing suicide in middle school for various reasons. But what bullies seemed to forgot...is the fact they killed someone by their actions. They are responsible for "murdering" them yet they walk scott free because they didn’t do it by their own hands. That’s why i hate bullies, they only think of themselves and never faced the weight of their actions.
i always felt that in izukus and shigarakis stories it wasn't a person saving them but a person finding a use for them with personal gain. It felt like All might used izuku the way that afo used shigaraki and is currently using him. Only difference was their labels, hero and villian
All the stuff he has been through he could have been a villain but he couldn't because he never gave up he forgave them all for all the time when he was bullied for all the trauma he had as a kid😢😫😭👍🏼❤
Just wait till they see the sludge villain thing and how mere hours after he was told to jump off a roof all might left him alone on a roof after crushing his dreams not to mention how he was ridiculed by pros for trying to save his "friend" and was told he was a nuisance while his bully that told him to kill himself was called "brave" and a "victim" and after all that he forgave them in like the same episode. Horikoshis characters rival Disney in their ability to let go of trauma and move on like it ain't never happen 😭😭
It's sad to think that Izuku didn't give much importance to this and that he let it go by after he entered the UA 😕
It really was traumatic, maybe he suppressed it.
Yea I wanna see more about it since it just got forgotten after he went to UA
Honestly, I was bullied too. Kinda just let it go and try not to think about it. 🤷🏻♀️
He needs therapy! Between the war and middle school, *he.needs.THERAPY*

@@ExiledToSomewhere9010 bro i was in girl's only school and they were 3 people and 2 years older then me😭😭😭
@@KOD.SpringWolf oof
Because kids are very cruel in middle school.
Sadly, it’s not rare to see a kid committing suicide in middle school for various reasons.
But what bullies seemed to forgot...is the fact they killed someone by their actions.
They are responsible for "murdering" them yet they walk scott free because they didn’t do it by their own hands.
That’s why i hate bullies, they only think of themselves and never faced the weight of their actions.
YESSSS IVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR MORE VILLAINS REACTING TO DEKUS PAST!!
Never thought I would cry bc of a video
this is what leads the lov to try and recruit Deku via catch musical songs
Okay but am I the only person who can’t control their laughter when the sad music comes on
This was ANAZING
Not related to the video but can we agree the echoed tiktok is ✨Beautiful✨ ✨Magnificent✨ and may I say ✨Breath-taking✨
BRO I JUST FINISHED PART 1 IM LITERALLY THE LUCKIEST
beautiful outro
i always felt that in izukus and shigarakis stories it wasn't a person saving them but a person finding a use for them with personal gain. It felt like All might used izuku the way that afo used shigaraki and is currently using him. Only difference was their labels, hero and villian
You are my favorite author, you are just a bun, I can't, the video is wonderful ∞
GREAT VIDEO!
Villains before finding out he was quirkless:"He probably had lots of friends when he was younger"
Villains after: 0□0 "WHAT!?"
Even though after all the stuff he has been through he never gave up❤😢😭👍🏼
All the stuff he has been through he could have been a villain but he couldn't because he never gave up he forgave them all for all the time when he was bullied for all the trauma he had as a kid😢😫😭👍🏼❤
Stain was right, izuku midoriya is a true hero and no one can change my mind or prove me wrong
I love how you put the echo instead of making it nightcore or daycare but it’s too quiet at some
You changed your username congratulations 🎉 also amazing video
OMG PLEASE PART 2 ❤
FINALLY A TOMURA THAT CARES FOR HIM
Whree???
OMG IM SO EARLY
The sympathy definitely shines onto the characters shown.
For better or for worse.
I did my best to word it nicely..
How did u make it echo like that it sounds so cool 😻
Just wait till they see the sludge villain thing and how mere hours after he was told to jump off a roof all might left him alone on a roof after crushing his dreams not to mention how he was ridiculed by pros for trying to save his "friend" and was told he was a nuisance while his bully that told him to kill himself was called "brave" and a "victim" and after all that he forgave them in like the same episode. Horikoshis characters rival Disney in their ability to let go of trauma and move on like it ain't never happen 😭😭
Ok the pros did that?! I never new that happened
Never in my life I had sobbed so hard over a GCRV
Shigaraki:*asked for a break*
*After THAT*
Me:where is my break??
sometimes i think when he smiles hes just traumatized
Unpopular opinion deku had every right to become a villain
True
I clicked faster than idk what.. but yea
Amazing❤
I love the react
THIs IS AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️✨✨✨✨✨💅💅😩💅💅💅
I would have been nice to see what all might said to but everything else was really good❤️
never cried so hard at a reaction vid..
First 😊
Izuku had the reasons to become a villain and yet he did not choose to become one, he has a kind heart :)
rare footage of shiggy being sympathetic
👍 amazing
Midoriya has every right to be a villain
best outro ever (stickman)
the outro made me laugh even tho everything was so dark HELP
The ending gave me flashbacks of an arabic wedding 💀
the dancing stickman at the end never gets old
The fact that I almost cried until I saw the outro😭😭
Everyone: talking Abt the vid or the villains
Me: ZAM STICK MAN SLAYS
😩✋✨
