Really impressed with this new line of Domane ALR's. The wider tire provides better bump compliance and stability for beginner riders. Even for experienced riders, it adds more comfort and the option to ride off-road.

ToddJones thanks for review! I ride a Trek FX S4 crossbike and also a Fairdale Weekender Drop (38mm tyres, first set were 42!) but my next bike is going to be the Domane ALR. That'll give me a local ride bike, commuter and a longer distance bike.

Indeed, it seems to be a pretty well rounded bike. I just spent some time on the Domane SL 6 Disc... what an incredible bike.

nice vid ! Would like to see something similar for the domane alr 5 2018 . I can's say if I like the colour based on the trek site and a video would help . thanks

Hi, could you compare the diff between Domane ALR 4 Disc, FX S 6, 2018 TREK Domane SL 5?

Quite different bikes, my firend. What kind of riding are you doing? Sorry for the late reply, I was in the prcoess of moving and starting a new job.

Do you think i could put 38C tires on this bike?

Same response goes for this bike as the last question you asked. I don't think it would work under power or if the wheel comes slightly out of true.

    Are 2018's even out yet?

Ben Johnson you bet, this time of the year is when new models come out. I think Trek has 4 or 5 2018 models out.
