    How do you know that your V213 & v70 air recirculation flap positioning motorS needs replacement:
    - you have to be sure that you don’t have to replace the heater core
    - one of your fault codes from your VCDS Scan Tool (or any other scan tool) is "00041-Indirect Ventilation Flap Motor V213" or "01272 - Positioning Motor for Central Flap (V70)"
    - when you turn the heat in your car and you don't have heat on the center air vent and blowing heat on the windshield doesnt defog it (HVAC temperature inconsistent) probably it’s time to check or replace the V213 or V70 Actuator for Temperature Flap (Air Recirculation Flap Positioning Motor)
    - you hear strange noises from behind the dashboard or HVAC
    If you want to buy a new V213 motor look for the serial number wich is: 3C0907511

    A Tutorial as a tutorial should be. Very very good job. Clear, concise, straight to the point, no stupid and loud music, ecc. I have the same problem and will try your method instead of removing the whole dashboard. Thank you

    Great video - all of your videos are - you speak clearly, and don't move too fast with the camera. Thank you!
    I have a question with respect to the potentiometer for the V70 flap... your product link takes me to a page that displays many potentiometers and they are of various resistance values.
    Can you please specify which one is needed to repair the V70, V213, etc. (I believe you say they all use the same one).
    Thank you again!

    I wonder if you can change these parts for the new ones, i talked to VW and they have so many revisions of this motor for passat, 3C1907511, 2nd rev 1K0907511,3rd rev 2Q0907511 however 2Q0907511 has a small bump on the top so i dont know if it will fit in some places

    hi, i have a 2017 toledo, and when i turn off the windshield blower setting a servo motor starts clicking, it clicks about 10 times then stops for 10 seconds, it does this for as long as i dont turn the windshield blower setting back on. so my guess is that it cant move the flap into the fully closed position but fully open is fine (for now). what do you think which motor is the culprit for this?

    Greetings, I'm writing in need of some help.
    My golf mk6 2010 is not providing any heat, while all controls seem to be working fine. I tested all the flaps with VCDS, and V213 is not changing position values (actual 50) While the scan doesnt show any errors on this part. Is my Indirect ventilation flap stuck? Or am i doing something wrong?
    Thank you in advance, and stay succsesful!

    Hello everyone I was wondering if anyone can help me
    I own a VW Passat B7 (2013) and I get a code saying "Indirect ventilation door motor, actuator jammed". Basically in watever posistion I put the air vents 80% of the air goes into passenger footwell (through cabin filter). I noticed this problem after I changed the cabin filter myself. I guess I probably either broke something or did not put the filter as it was supposed to go. Can someone advise on what to do, change the motor and if yes then which one?
    Thanks in advance.

    • @Servicetutorials
      @Servicetutorials  Před 3 měsíci

      Hello! You have to check the cabin filter first. And if nothing changed, you have you use a dyagnose tool to see the fault code.

    • @deha554
      @deha554 Před 3 měsíci

      @@Servicetutorials Thanks for the response!
      I did remove the filter and the code is still there: “B10B871 Indirect ventilation door motor, Actuator jammed”.
      I think I somehow jammed the air flaps in the case where cabin filter goes and now they are stuck open and would not close. Would the change of V159 actuator fix the thing? If not is there a diagram of the system somewhere available and I can do some DIY project to investigate the issue.

      I have this exact error code in my B7. I am also getting a buzzing sound from drivers centre vent (RHD). It happens when ignition is turned on and randomly when driving. I’ve noticed if I adjust driver side temperature in 0.5 increments I can get the noise to start and stop. Would this be a motor or the same issue the gentleman above is having

    • @deha554
      @deha554 Před měsícem

      @@Kieranshields89 I recently noticed that when I put on more than 20 degrees on my AC everything works normally. However when I set the temperature to 18 or 19, the vent that is pointed to windshield closes, and all the air starts coming out from the central AC vents (pointed to the driver). My best guess is that one of the flaps is not working properly. Which one I do not know.
