@@thepublichousebrandcom just saw some of his NJPW matches. Dude always went for the single leg like an amateur wrestler. I agree on him being underrated on the mat.
Sabu is one of the most underrated and under appreciated wrestlers of all time.
Not in the ECW arena or ELKS Lodge in Queens!!! He was a LEGEND To Us fans.
Lol no, more like completely overrated. A semi talented lunatic who injured countless other wrestlers, injured himself heavily, took way too many liberties, was a total danger to everybody and had massive drug problems. There was absolutely nothing redeeming about him. He wasn't even 1/10 the talent high fliers like Rey Mysterio, Eddie Guerrero or most of Mexico was, who did the same stunts and flips. The unknown origin of UCEY
"Uce" is a kind of Samoan slang for "brother/friend/Bro".
Thank u.... that was my question by the way felt good to finally get him to read a question
Does Uso mean anything
@@x4president1 Yes, the same thing. It's a more "old" slang for brother/bro. Think of it how your older uncle might use the slang, "Homeboy" but a younger generation might say, "Homie". They both carry the same meaning but one is more modern version of the same slang.
Uso is family I think
@@nathancullins9301 Depends on the context. It can mean family outright, yes. But can also be a kind of cousin/blood relative in general.

Someone mentioned in this video appeared in Ireland just over 10 years ago and spotted a fan in the meet and greet queue who looked like he might have access to recreational products. @@ahmeddemha6112 The Sheik and Sabu are two different people.
@@Rjensen2 yes they’re uncle and nephew.
The limp handshake is a big thing among wrestlers. I've always heard it's a way for you to know who's in the business and I imagine with the pain they're often in they'd prefer it. (Perhaps I should have watched the video before I posted lol)
I met the Sandman at an IWA East Coast show in 2006 and I shook his hand when I did. I've been told I have a pretty firm handshake and as soon we shook he did grimace and pull back and said something along the lines of "Jesus man, not so hard!".
Dude later got thrown down some bleacher steps that night.
What reality is this?
I found this greatly amusing. And on handshakes that try to crush bones, they're amusing too. Just shows how hard some people try to convince themselves they're alpha with no context needed.

My mom raised me and she always warned about the limp handshake or as she called it, the; "Dead fish hand shake." Where, there's no grip, the hand is limp, and it feels disgusting to hold.
So, I was raised to give that semi tight grip and sturdy handshake. Which, I will adjust, depending on whose hand I'm shaking. A firm and sturdy handshake represents your character and I believe that to be the case.
To this day I can't stand shaking a man's hand that's a dead fish. Creeps me out.

My book review, I loved Sabu's book. Usually a wrestler writes a book, half of it kissing Vince McMahon's ass. This wasn't the case. I don't felt he was after anyone in particular. He just told the truth about ECW/Paul Heyman and how he was there from the beginning. When you read it he does "protect the business". His dad divorced his mom at an early age. So you could tell his uncle The Sheik was his mentor. I've noticed 2 things about drug addicts. 1) They tend to live in a fantasy world they create. 2) Steroids just turn someone twice as dumb, steroids are a narcotic. I've seen Sabu's back riddled with acne.
But you could tell he did so much drugs he doesn't remember half his life. He doesn't remember interacting with Insane Clown Posse in the late 80s or early 2000s (instead of the Invasion Angle). Sabu was on tour with them on stage.
Violent J wrote a book about 15 years ago. He tells all sorts of Sabu stories. He has all sorts of photos with him. He's even got a few of Mick Foley.
TBH I think that's why he loves doing Indy shows so much (access to drugs). 6 months sober in WWE in 2007 must have been torture for him. Sabu holds onto some ass backwards grudges, that's what sabotaged his career. Read his book and you'll see. I always wished he could have befriended Vince McMahon but that never happened.
I wish we all coulda seen Sting and Sabu in WWE in early 2000s. Instead of the drivel WWE gave us.
