I'm just wondering here, I mean about 11 seasons in and still....... PC get's the option to key bind yet console does not have the option to customize their controller layout, yet only a few set of lame ass defaults. So it's random for console to revive, loot, open/close doors etc....
A dev sorta answered this once. Basically they are aware that some binds would be more optimal but not intuitive or comfortable to play with. But it's expected and they aim to give everyone on console a streamlined experience. A reply asked why not make it streamlined but give the options in sub menu's and the answer to that was that they didn't want to give the competitive advantage to something which is not comfortable to play with etc. Why is it different on PC? When you game on PC it's expected that you customize to your liking and that's just the basics of using a PC. There is no clear streamlined way to for one keyboard layouts etc. But we PC players also don't get all the keybinds we want. A lot of us actually want to separate the revive key from interact entirely, like reload is separated.
