~~ there are so many good cats just waiting in no-kill shelters (and kill shelters) - don't rush to be trendy and get a fancy cat from a breeder - check out the shelters first - not all of them will be a good fit for you - but if you keep looking - you will find a real gem ..
And there’s actually a pretty brisk market to rehome Bengals. They are NOT easy cats to care for and that last part is severely misleading. They can have INTENSE separation anxiety. And then they just destroy stuff - out of boredom mostly. I work too much so sometimes I take my Bengal mix (his mom either escaped or was abandoned - GORGEOUS CAT) to his “grandma’s house” where there’s at least one person at home most of the day. He misses me, but enjoys periods where he has more daily human companionship as a sort of “vacation.” But really he’s such a good boy. I’ll always consider him as my first dog 🤣
