Before being saved we are all born in the flesh as slaves like chunks of coal. All pain and suffering is resented and avoided.
After being saved, we become like diamonds and the light of God can finally shine through our life after enough pressure.
Once we become a diamond and crucified the flesh, we are able to suffer for God without fear and take all the hits.

Fabulous talk, Father! Thank you so very much! I’m a convert since 1991 & I find I still can’t learn enough. It’s funny how God directs your way if you just listen to Him. Recognize the signs (thanks to Our Lady & the Holy Ghost for opening my tiny brain!) & listen to holy priests & read good Catholic books. Go to Mass & Adoration & get all the Sacraments! We Catholics are the wealthiest people in creation! I feel I’m entering into a new phase of my life. A beautiful new chapter focused completely on God. It’s incredible! I’m finding all these new books & new Catholic talks/videos that relate to what I’m dealing with now. Perhaps I’m not alone, but I feel a very strong pull to actually live in the holy Will of God. It’s all like a maze right now, but I can only take 1 day at a time 😊 May God bless all priests!

I was confronted by my sons for the infidelity of their father which I didn’t know. I found myself still in peace within me maybe because I have control my emotions ever since. But I found myself disturbed mentally that I had a hard time sleeping that night. It seems my brain can’t figure out why I could still be at peace inside me. Yet in church I could feel like crying. I do mentally pray or meditate the rosary. For sure this Sunday when they have adoration in the church I will cry.

First off, I’m selling my home as soon as I get it fixed-up. Where I’m going I have no idea. Most people in my situation know what they are going to do. I don’t know what I’m going to do/live. Thanks for this video! Today, I had to "deal" or to discuss about a contract with someone. Before, I was praying because I didn't know it would "get out of my mouth". So, of course, I prayed this "Dear Holy Mother, pass before me, God our Father, bless the person I am about to talk to, etc., and all saints I could remember. Of course, you can guess, it passed through as easy as with oil..." (it might have been an holy oil) ;-) ! And, as this video explained it well, Peace came out from it. I was even putting myself "in the skin" of the other; as with understanding of the other perspective.
But? it didn't stand there. During the day, it kept on. I was as well comforting some others for this and giving more constructive perspectives to others. My feeling is, when we ask the good thing and that God agree, He doesn't give, it's pouring.
I am aware that I am quite often asking for myself many time, and sometimes, it is as if I am asking "selfish" demands. As we say "Me, myself and I". Sometime, asking with for what we don't have instead for asking Him to open our eyes on what we already have. This way, we can reach our goal, within.
I am not perfect in prayers. But once one prayer works, it means that 'the phone works", that he communication is on. I am sure God always gives us what make us grow at the same time. He does not only gives the fish, He takes also the time to teach us "how to fish".... In this world, I know how to fish. In prayers, I am always asking a "refreshing lesson".
    God bless you all.
And, please, have a little prayer for me.
    Thanks.

I remember something like that sudden peace you were describing happened to me last year. I was in bed at the end of a frustrating day and I was feeling extremely drained and sad because I felt like I have not been moving forward for so long. Suddenly, I felt pure ecstasy, suddenly realizing how many gifts I have and how much progress I have made. I feel like it is rude that I comment about this. I just felt like this is something I should share and other people might want to read.

Satan CAN GIVE A FALSE SENSE OF peace...in this way. He can and does, to spiritual persons, a false sense of peace, by after tormenting the soul much, he will suddenly withdraw for a time, and leave the soul in a false sense of peace, only to attack that soul much worse and bring them to dissipate! Secondly, no one can "make themselves humble," there were many selves deluded so-called holy one who we can say, were very proud of there self-fabricated humility! God is the true author of humility. Any soul, who seriously attempt to keep the commandments, will soon find, himself fail, and fail, and fail. If he does not give into despair,
he will continue to arise, and begin again, eventually being able to say with St. Alphonse Longoria, what is the surprise Lord, its just me a sinner. He will begin to get used to seeing his true self, in his true state, wholly incapable of doing anything by his own efforts, seeing in himself, that his ideas, his will, are incapable of following our Lord, and that his efforts were indeed, his efforts and not the grace of God, his insights, and understanding, are in fact his own limited understanding and not the Grace of God ,he will see in fact ,it was his will and not Gods will, which lead him. Should he reach this deep, he will see in himself all this but, he will not despair, but instead, will turn to God, perhaps for the first time sincerely, and lay down his earthy fallen nature before God, lay down his human weapons, and surrender to God and say for the first time ,Lord forgive me,I can do nothing ,I am a sinner. I believed I was following you and had your grace, but I realize now, I was following myself, my books, my own intellect, I deluded myself and others, and when it seemed I was succeeding, I remember even becoming very proud of my success, I even taught others, in my delusion, till I fell yet again. I thank thee oh Lord, for this marvelous vision of seeing myself through your eyes, indeed I am nothing, indeed I cannot do anything,, this is who I am before You, I am nothing. Formerly, I thought I knew what all these things meant, but now I see it was only books, learning, intellectual understanding, not experience. I did not know myself at all. But thanks to your grace I see who I really am, a sinner, unworthy to look upon heaven, I am the publican who did not so much as look up to heaven but smite his breast and repeated Lord forgive me a sinner. Before puffed up by my studies, or thinking I was full of the HOLY GHOST, I was indeed that Pharisee, who look down at that Publican in my shallow successes over myself, which last but a short time, I fail yet again. I thank thee for these falls now, which destroyed my false humility, For You Oh Lord are the true author of humility,

A spiritual director explained why I can not forget my past sins. It is to keep me humble. Nice so there is no need to sin again to force His mercy. When doing venial sins submit to the penitential rite at mass your transgressions. If mortal submit to confession number and kind and do the penance imposed. Humble yourself by choosing to practice the opposing virtue to the vice you failed in. Avoid making Luther’s mistake!

17 A human being has life and death before him; whichever he prefers will be given him.
18 For vast is the wisdom of the Lord; he is almighty and all-seeing.
19 His eyes are on those who fear him, he notes every human action.
20 He never commanded anyone to be godless, he has given no one permission to sin.

Call a priest from a local parish on the phone and explain your difficulties and ask him to visit you, If he is a good priest he will be happy to visit you. If you run into issues calling a priest ask a family member or a friend to get a priest for you. It is very important to be able to get to confession. God Bless

Father, at one point of my life I was convinced I wanted to be a nun. I am convinced of the beautiful love of God and protection of Virgen Mary Theotekos that I just wanted to give the best of my entire oneself. I wa rejected three times. It felt very painful. Men are wonderful amazing, however, there is a deep stronger force that draws me to continue to move forward. I feel very scared at this time to get married because I never want to be divorced, I never want to get cheated, and I never want to offend God in the Holy sacrament of marriage. I don't understand. Sometimes I feel that I just have to get married. Please keep me in your prayers.
