moodybluesattit... The Moodies perform Nights in White Satin and The Voice, sorry about the bad edit between the songs. raythomas.me moodybluestoday...
They may have lost a member; but their legend will NEVER die, some of the BEST MUSIC EVER!!!😇😇 WHEN I hear the white satin song...it reminds me of knights as in ANGELS🙏
I just want to say how sorry I am in the passing of Ray Thomas. I fell in love with the "Blues" a long time ago, and I have lots of their albums that I listen to more times than I can tell you. One if my favorites has to be, without question, Ray's " For My Lady." As I listen to it now and cry for him and his family at the same time, it reminds me of how precious and unpredictable life is. Ray is in the best of hands now and having no more pain. Heaven is truly blessed right now in the music department ...Ray, Tom Petty, and my own Brother who also passed away last August from prostate cancer. I can almost hear them all now...jamming jamming jamming!!! So, Ray...you are not alone, but in very good company. Safe journey home, Godspeed...and thank you for your beautiful gift of music for all of us to enjoy...you will be so missed by so many....see you someday...bye for now...💜🎶🎼
@@marietjieThat one is! Perfect package , Tall, good looking, sensitive enough to write incredibly romantic songs. His wife’s a lucky lady. John Lodge was no slouch in the looks department either.
Living in the United States, this program and video from 1984, would not have been aired. I really appreciate being able to watch it now! Thanks so much!
@bkhuino86. Just Google 'Gracie Fields' and you'll understand.She was born in 1898 and died in 1978 she was a singer and actress who was popular in the 30s,40s and 50s.

Except for the title is: NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN. Knights is not part of the title or song.
It's about nights in white satin sheets that a girlfriend gave him.
Yeah, how about that white satin song! 😂
Was introduced to the Moodies by my boyfriend in 1967. I was hooked. Married the boyfriend in 1972. Loved them then, luv them now.

@bkhuino86.Your welcome.
Love this! I just wish it was really live and not lip synced.
Could anybody please help me understand the joke in between songs (I´m not a native speaker).
I would truly appreciate it, thanks!
Gracie Fields was an English musical hall performer / singer from the 1930's and 40's.

John was born in 1945.
It was a joke about them being an old band, even in 1984!
Amazingly, they were still playing together 34 years later, in 2018. 😊
