After watching your video, I repeated omg please x100. Yes! They make it for the new RAV4! Thank you so much for solving this problem. Much appreciated Chloe! Your a life saver.
Mine came with the scratches on the instrument cluster since I got it from the dealership, they said that they cleaned the interior before selling me the truck so it probably got scratched when they were cleaning it.
Motorcyclists have used novus for years to remove (polish) scratches in soft plastics. If you think it is annoying how dusty the dash gets when off roading, wait til you start accumulating noticeable quantities of dust inside the instrument cluster. I saw you where doing so, but if you mentioned it or not I failed to notice... ALWAYS start from the middle and work to the outside when applying a film whether it is window tinting, vehicle wraps and stickers, or screen protectors. Also I can not speak for these products, but a standard practice when applying films has long been that if you get a small air bubble that you can not remove with the squeegee you can remove it by puncturing it with a needle, pin, or even the tip of a utility knife. Personally I did not know this company existed... I am definitely going to have to look into ordering some screen protectors for my Tacoma. Keep up the great content.
Man I've been seeing these more and more, they look super awesome and love they clean up all the scratches. That plastic is SO bad for scratches holy.. Might have to get some of these!!
Yeah this product is great for the gauge clusters, but who can tell me how the fck to repair or help the scratches on the other interior plastics? These Tacoma's are being built so cheap that most of all the interior scratches like nothing. I scratched my column plastic by wiping it lightly with a damp towel literally. I've got scratches now on my door panel from occasionally resting my pant leg against it. As well as scratches on the glove box from people trying to sit down in these ridiculous seats, my mother almost fell out of the truck trying to get in. Toyota should be ashamed with the quality of their interiors. I've never seen a vehicle as cheaply designed and as I'm writing this my taco is only 3 months old, already getting roughed up and i treat this thing like porcelain. Mechanically they may be superior to other brands which is good, but their build quality on some stuff is horrid. The paint exterior is crap, the bed lining is junk as well as most of the moldings. Is there even a truck manufacturer out there anymore that's building solid vehicles? They seem to all be disposable. I got into this Tacoma when I traded my new GMC Sierra in..that truck was garbage as well. The tailgate was so weak and light duty that if you used it for any work it would be ruined in less than a month. The turbo and transmission in the GMC shuddered so much that it was literally rattling the trim and fiberglass panels loose by the third year. Buyer beware, and that new tundra reminds me very much of the GMC with the fiberglass body panels and turbo engine, i would highly recommend staying away from tundra for a few years til we see how it holds up . For 40k this is just plain unacceptable all around
Just ordered mine last week as I seen this on TW as well. Also watched another CZcamsr do this too. My 2020 is only a month old so I want to preserve the clean un scratched look before I clean the instrument cluster. I have seen the pictures of instrument clusters on TW and they look like they have been cleaned with steel wool! You make it look very easy so I’m hoping to get the same results. Yours turned out amazing! Thanks for sharing. Too bad I missed out on your discount code when I ordered. A little expensive to Canada but I think the results are worth it!
Thats awesome was just thinking about that the other day. I try not to clean it because of the scratches but now that I now this is there I'm probably gonna get it just to clean the whole thing up and make it look good again.
camcam413 You will love wiping your screens in the future. Our film was developed specifically for the interiors of vehicles with cleaning and fingerprints a major focus. We wanted our film to be slick so when you move through the navigation settings you don’t get that rubbery feel.
Hi Chloe, the result is just impresive, amazing, woooooou incredible and súper easy to install !!! I need one of this for my 2016 Toyota Tacoma. Thanks for this video and have a nice sunday !!!
A yo Cloe! This literally just happened to me.. and I just purchased this same set.. Was going to do the same thing and try to replace the plastic but why go through that instead of just fix what I already have. You are incredible at fixing and updating your truck. Keep up the hard work and great content.
Just installed these on all the surfaces a few days ago and gotta say, the screens are crystal clear and look brand new all over again. 10/10 recommend! 💯
Oh great!! I need this! I wonder how it works by only covering a scratched display. You would think the scratches would still show. My 2nd gen shows some scratches when the light hits at a certain angle. It’s annoying 😒😁
Well done, Chloe!!! This video was so pleasant to watch. I think Screen Protect should give you royalties for such a fantastic demonstration and endorsement.
I have been looking for Something like this! Especially to Cover up my existing micro scratches on my 2020 Tacoma. I swear you just breathe on the plastic and it scratches.
I purchased this. A must for the gauge cluster. Not sure about keeping it on the infotainment screen yet. The protector shows a ton of finger prints and my infotainment screens do not easily scratch like the cluster plastic.
This stuff looks great. Amazing how quick and easy you made this look, great job! When the dash lights are on can you see any deeper scratches. Unfortunately I got 2 scratches that show a little light refraction when it's dark and the gauges are lit..

Do you know how I can add a switch below my climate control knobs, I want to add a rocker switch next to the ECT button. There are a couple of blank spots for switches. I am not sure how to remove that lower panel. I have a '20 Tacoma SR 4x4 , your basic truck, but I love it. Thank you, this video is great, good bye scratches!
Had no problem applying the protection to the flat, rectangle data screen but it was impossible to apply it to the curved, binocular shaped gauge cluster of an Acura.
Awesome video, Chloe. I will do this. One question I had for you or anyone else here is did you install an O-ring around the odometer hole to stop dust from getting inside the instrument cluster? If so, what exactly did you use?
Hi there I hope you get this, I tried this same product, but I got frustrated because I couldn't get all the air bubbles out, any advice? Do the bubbles eventually go away? Thank you.....
We have a proprietary top coat that is very slick and smooth to help reduce fingerprints. Also an amazing feature for cleaning. We have had many compliments on how easy it is to clean. Just wipe with the high quality glass towel we provide.
Can anyone that installed this comment on the clarity? I installed 1 of the 3 dash pieces on my 2nd gen taco and am unhappy with the milky, hazy look. I’m hesitant to install the other pieces now. Their how to page says it could be hazy for up to 3 days and will dissipate within 7-40 days. Will it eventually clear up to the level of not being there? Thanks
Chloe,do you have problem with the hard plastic getting scratches easily? I put a cup in the center console and there were scratches. It seems that Toyota uses very soft plastic
Micro fiber scratches the plastic, but you’re given micro fiber to clean it. This product in my opinion is best to avoid , that’s why they push you to pay extra for two kits. I was only able to get it on my radio and gear shift , instrument cluster was a disaster, not spending another $50 to fix this
Wow Chloe thank you sooooo much what an amazing video....
