I think the doctor is spot on when he says you can hydrate while bypassing the digestive system and that’s very important.
I cringed when the other dr said to just drink water. When you’re shelling hundreds for hangover treatment there’s a pretty good chance your stomach ain’t gonna like that

@@crabinijig8403 don't forget the "nurses" who are too desperate to practice their skills. I'd never want an IV for my first self caused hangover. I'd rather sleep it off. I've had hangovers after receiving IV meds for a seizure and a separate time for dehydration. Thankfully the last time I had an IV (for a CAUTI with fever), I was able to drive myself back to my house. Thank god I've only seen one "IV Bar" in person. Yet it was next to Point Washington where I hunt for quercicus and make sure invasive aliens such as a. sagrei and e. planirostris don't harm them. I didn't even set foot in the parking lot. I just went back into the coastal scrub and hammock.
It’s a service that will get you in your toes a day. If you really need the hung over gone and you will miss out on a lot of money then it’s worth it.

"Chicken Soup with Rice" is going to hydrate me when I have a hangover?? I've been drinking for far too many decades and I've tried almost every hangover cure known. Chicken Soup, Pedialyte, Gatorade, and everything else offer very little relief. I never tried an IV drip but if it was cheaper I would give it a try.
