i have used the Sugoi for ten years.. i love the folding saws because they travel safely. i use them both in pruning, felling a mid-size tree if i dont want to make the noise, and i even use japanese saws (with a straight blade) in finish carpentry. i would keep this in my volvo trunk, with my other carpentry and woodworking tools, i do handyman jobs, residential tree pruning, and high-end carpentry and installations. one would be amazed, i can work faster with a Silky saw than someone else taking time to hook up a skilsaw, if its just for one or two cuts.

    Nice saws!
If I had one, I'd be using it as often as I cut and carve my spoons, kuksas, and other things. Very handy as I only have an aging bahco laplander that I've filed myself back to sharpness and a really rusty handsaw. Cheers for the video!

(Continuation) admired Japanese saws and wood working tools. Do you use and Japanese axes? Also I am make and teach bowmaking, curious to see what axes etc. you use for stave reduction. Just a thought. Of course I have a variety of Swedish axes, as their geometry is cutting edge! I’m liking lighter weight hatchets with a straight tomahawk type handle. Might be something your followers might like, including my self. Thanks for your good, honest info. B.B.

@@SuperBluefin1 I got my own line of axes and used to make bows. Swedish axes arent cutting it for me anymore in steel and geometry. From my dozens of axe reviews you can imagine I'm a nerd about those things and have been doing this for a while. I've lived also in Canada carbing canoe paddles with axe and knife so stock removal of Ash and even harder kiln dried woods isn't new to me. Browse the channel. You'll find a lot.
