Do you carve more softer wood, I see you mention cotton wood quite frequently where is that in the world of density/hardness, is a softer wood a more difficult medium or is there any particular wood you would choose over another?

Cottonwood bark is pretty soft, like butter. Using Kutzall bits makes easy to shape down how you want it, but carving into small details it’s chips. Like around the eyelids if the carving is small.
