Hikvision AX PRO Wireless Alarm System: AX PRO PIRCAM Detector Review - Features/Demo/Activation. Unlike regular PIR sensor, what PIRCAM offers is, as you can guess, taking photos on an event - on a PIR sensor triggering - the camera shutter takes series of up to 20 photos in a row, and the sends it to the AX Hub, along with the alert signal via radio frequencies. And from there they go to the Hik-connect App on your phone via internet. And they come in 3 available resolutions: 160x120 / 320x240 / 640x480. PIRCAM is a fully supervised 2-way wireless detector with built-in high quality camera which can provide a perfect solution for video verification via motion pictures transmitted to an ARC and to personal phones via Apps. In the demo It is hard to see if actually 20 pictures are taken during the alarm because you have speed up that part of the video.
So it is not possible to get an idea of how fast the alarm is notified to the mobile. Also since the notification until the image appears in the phone I count about 5 seconds, so taking into account that the video is accelerated I would expect about 20 seconds or more in real life. Right?
