I feel like you can always find your own “dad” elsewhere tho. From work extended family, friends families, coworkers, etc. I feel like you can go out yourself and find an older person you can respect like a parent and have them fill that hole for you. That’s what I plan to do. If my dads a pos I’ll just disown him and find someone who’s not I can look up to 👍 idk after 8+ years of depression agonizing over why he doesn’t love me, this is the conclusion I’ve come up with. I hope this helps someone too 🫶
