- Friends, our first reading and our Gospel today are about the word of God, both from God’s side as he speaks, and then from our side as we receive. God has spoken through creation, the prophets, the Scriptures-and, in the fullness of time, the very Word of God. If you open your mind and heart to the power of God’s word, it will change you.

Please pray for me. I am considering a vocation to the priesthood.
At one time I was what is called a ‘fallen away’ Catholic. I picked up the Bible one day and began reading. In particular, the Gospels had a profound effect on me. I was never the same. I realized who Jesus is and what He had done for me. I looked at creation in a new way. Since those days many years ago I have devoted myself to parish ministries. I tell everyone the Bible is alive! God bless you, Bishop Barron!
Protestant here, love Bishop Barron, listen every week!
Im an agnostic athiest. I listen to your Sermons Bishop Barron. Thank you for the lessons and insights into the faith. Even if im a non believer in religions I believe in the light of Christ and the transformative power os Love. I look forward to your sermons. Thanks and Much love and peace to the people on this planet.
The older I get (almost 79) the more committed I get to God. The phases of life, I believe.
So thankful to and for Bishop Barron. I‘ve converted from Protestantism to Catholicism three weeks ago also because of him (and because Catholicism just is true). Bishop Barron is a gift. Greetings from Germany!
You’ve made me realize how God inspired my personal motto for priesthood: Fides ex Auditu (faith comes by hearing) THE WORD OF THE LORD.
Bishop Barron, please pray for one of our priest Fr. Stephen, in Melville La. He was attacked Friday on church grounds. His evil attacker attacked him with a machete. He is in critical condition. Prayers please. Thank u.
"You can't read the bible without being changed". So true! 💓🙏"God's Word doesn't overwhelm us, it invites us to respond. If you let the Word of God into your mind and heart, it will change you." Thank you Bishop Barron for this beautiful sermon.
"Are you listening?" It's more a question of "can one hear?" No one has spoken to me, not a dicky bird.
One of the best Catholic channels.
I just told my wife, I keep learning new understandings about God from Bishop Baron. Amazing! Thank you again God, and Bishop Baron for saying yes to him.
Love to follow Bishop Robert Barron.
Glory to God in the highest 🙏💖🙏
"And The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us" John 1:14
I think Bishop Barron is the best preacher I have ever heard. His sermons are not only motivational but also faithfully teaching the Word of Christ. God bless you Bishop Barron!
"God's word is not descriptive. God's word is creative ... Whatever is, is because of the divine word. Therefore in the richest possible sense, God's word is creative."
Episcopalian here! I listen almost every week and read his daily inspirations. They help keep me focused
I'm currently reading St. Faustina's diary. I do it at night, when my little village is quiet and one understands why, as somebody said, silence is God's favourite language. Today, early morning, all quiet but some birds chirping, I prayed my Rosary and felt it to the bones. Thanks for your words, Fr Barron!
Great sermon again.Thank you Bishop Barron .The Holy Spirit is with you.
