When I was on this Gen I had my heir’s sister have an “accidental” pregnancy and then he adopted her child because the sister couldn’t take care of her child so it kinda played out good for her to be like a party animal basically for the next generation

Also there’s a foster care mod which I think could work for sage and he ends up adopting some of the foster kids!

I think they would definitely count towards adoptions! I don't think the challenge writer explicitly had this type of adoption in mind, but Sage did adopt them and move them in while they were minors
My vote is that you count Basil and Clover, mainly because the idea of that being how you get to four kids was so good to me that it made me watch the whole series haha. I can see maybe excluding Basil since he's going to age up soon, but definitely count Clover. If Sage is raising her through teendom it counts. If it feels a little cheaty, just remember that there's another generation where you have two sets of twins, so you'll get your four kid reckoning soon enough lol

The mum fell for my sim, but he was too awkward and rejected her. 😅 that’s why my gen 3 is rebelling. She sides with her mother, and hated that her father then later got married to a another sim.

If you have the luminpou pregnancy and adoption mod, you can do the surrogacy and you officially can adopt the child that way
