I actually love the idea of Katrina being their aunt, cause it is an easy, logical fix to them retconning Nighat out of existence. Now I wish they'd just done that! Then you don't have to reconcile the fact that they quite literally erased and replaced their Arab heritage. I'm definitely going to MCCC Katrina into their aunt in future saves!

I love your version of the Calientes! . Also, to answer your question - I definitely make up my own story for the backstories of sims in the sims 4. Since its an Alternate Universe and stuff. In my game Don and Nina just broke up and now he resides in San Myshuno as an intern in the Doctor Career. Nina is in University for Music and dating a simcloud rapper. Dina is in a modeling agency trying to get famous. While Katrina (the matriarch) is living off the client money, trying to get with Mortimer Goth because she thinks he's the one that got away.

Hi. I just want to say that I enjoy all of your videos! This CAS video is very calming, and I think you should give the Goths a new makeover!
I read somewhere that the sims 4 timeline is a result of Alexander Goth going back in time and writing a novel called Murder in Pleasantview about what he thinks happened to his mother. Resulting in Bella being raised much more sheltered. So basically sims 4 is a 'flash point'. That's why a lot of things are so different

I don't have a made up story but back before the Caliente's got their 'make over', my favorite was always Dina. She always struck me as the nicer sister for some reason.

I just realized yesterday, hey wait a minute… That's not Don! I was wondering what happened. Max what's his name is cute. I just always though Katrina was their mom. I didn't know anything about the girls being aliens. I never play my NPCs. I know if I could bring my dad back to life I would so I like that story, but I also LOVE the aunt storyline. I always thought Don was a crazy uncle or something. My great aunt and uncle are also my Godparents, and they got full custody of me when I was 6 I think. My birth mom has mental issues and my birth father is dead. He died when I was 4 months died. My great uncle died 2 years ago and it broke my heart.
In my custom save file I'm working on, Katrina doesn't exist. And Don doesn't live with them

My story for the Caliente family is that Katrina was born Nighat and in her teen years fell in love with the heir to a Mafia empire, she was set to be the "Queen" alongside him. But as loving as he was, he was involved in a lot of bad criminal activities that she didn't agree with or want to stand by. So she helped authorities bring down the empire and went into witness protection, hence the name change. But she learned she was pregnant with her twins which made the stakes even higher. The relocated her away to Oasis Springs where she's been raising her girls ever since. In my game she stopped dying her hair and went back to her blonde roots, her girls are teens like Cassandra, and she dumped Dom after a few months of dating because she learned early on how scummy he was. She and Bella are best friends, and she is engaged to Marcus Flex. The older twin Nina is a serial romantic, the younger twin Dina is into older guys and rich guys, but she's also on her way to becoming Sim Kardashian. Don on the other hand started dating Judith Ward but she was just using him for his looks to create a genetically beautiful baby. Then she kicked him to the curb. Now he's living in Johnny Zest's old house while Johnny is a famous comedian and actor and Married to Vanessa Jeong.
