Some BLACKPINK dance moves maybe😂
Congrats to USA the best in the world
I love that whenever they perform the Haka, the camera operators make sure to zoom in on the faces of Team USA like it’s The Office
Man... The zoom was intense.
Hit em with the classic Jim face 😕
I'll NEVER forget Harden's face from years ago, followed by Steph's "But can you do this?" three🤣🤣
That is pretty cool every time I see it! Even though team US were stone faced while watching, they had to have enjoyed that! 😂
they know everyone is laughing inside and theyre trying to catch em
bobby portis looks like he's ready to 1v12 all of them😂
😂😂😂😂
Bobby Portis got that ghetto mentality: "You think you can just roll on me like that with that war dance and shit?! nah ah! I'm coming for you all!"
He looks scared 💀
Basketball players aren't tough lol. Be real.
@@waffle1499fr I thought he looked fairly intimidated
portis reaction reminds me of james harden🤣
That's just his eyes man 😂

Sorry wha? When did this happen?
I forgot about this moment!!
Keep this tradition going! Thank you Kiwi’s for branding your culture to the world. Love from Bosnia.
it's only in rugby, now is becoming a kind of marketing spot
Nah, its meaningless. Has about as much to do w/ sports as cheer leading.
Everyone else taking it seriously is funny
@attiliofisher1094 nah it not only in rugby we do it in every sport, events and other ceremony. Your just uncultured
Yes! This needs to continue, I love this Haka tradition.
@@shahn78 That's because you don't understand it. In NZ culture, the haka is a form of respect.
The US team should have responded to a hip hop dance moves.😂
😂
Please, no.
💀
Lets do the harlem shake🕺🕺👑👑🔥🔥🏀🏀
Like the Grizzlies tunnel walk
If this was Rugby or league I think NZ haka would be intimidating as they are a powerhouse, but In basketball I think this will give the USA more motivation.
War dance before a match is not meant to be intimidating. It is meant to hype up yourself and your opponents (raise testosterone levels).
it is a tradition for them, it's nice to see places that their past wasnt decimated by europeans
@@futurehofer1564 thanks for the European shout out! 😍
Why did the USA team have to stand across from them like its forced to watch??? If I'm a USA player id go sit on the bench, We whooping they ass anyways.
@@norvinzor it is bascially forced to watch or else everyone will cry that USA is disrespectful. Team USA thinking "thats a cute little dance, now come get this work"
Brunson look like he about to give them 40 just because of it😂
He gave them 10pts
@@PhoenixSunsNZ I wouldn't have cared if he gave him zero. I was just talking about the look on his face😂
@@PhoenixSunsNZF--- the suns go Celtics
The cold stares from the US players. That was fire.
They were thinking “uhh wtf is this”
@@ell3655they thought what did we fail to invade
Not going to intimidate the USA basketball team.
@@pravnica1977 That’s always been the intention of the haka.
@@gezzarandomhonestly it wasn’t the same cause NZ knew they were gonna lose and it showed on USA faces . Banchero looked like he couldn’t wait to dunk on their whole team
All of that, and lost by 27 😂
😂😂😂😂
For real 😅😅
I'm an American but I don't care what sport it is, I love seeing NZL perform their Haka! 🤩
WTF
I’m American tooo and I could care less about an effin Haka
The USA team definitely gave them Haka all damn game long.
They perform haka only when facing US or every match ?
@bibitsurawan every match...its supposed to intimidate but only works in Rugby
Salute to Team USA because they not ignore the Traditional Haka of New Zealand😊😊😊
I would ignore
They said get the haka out of here
It's so dumb... You can't do this... In a sport that requires you do "draw penalties".
@@curtismartin9054Settle down, cream puff
@@edisjdI would be cracking up on camera
Haka used to relieve their nervous and anxiety facing USA

Ja would pull out his 🔫 in retaliation 😂
Stop it. NO COMPARISON.............HAKA IS BEAUTIFUL.........ITS JUST THEIR TRADITION..................JA'S dance is just a dance step....
Jokes on you, he'd just pull out his Glock
Ja would've had a mini bang bang hidden in his short and use it

That performance, never fails to make me smile. Such a unique culture
lol
Feminine like cheerleaders.
Chanting and dancing around for intimidation isn't unique it's just more barbarian bullshit like the druids and it failed to impress back then too.
@@jasonrahimzadeh2342please don't be like that
Lol when the British came and invaded new Zealand. History indicates that all this white British people were indeed Intimidated. Those British soldiers had guns. And resources and struggled to defeat Maori with sticks 😂
Always nice to see people who love their tradition.
Right? The American team should have re-enacted the revolutionary war.
And when Spain plays... we can bring out a bull.
Italy... the whole team gets together and eats a nice dinner on the court. The coach gets mad and slaps one of the players... but it's okay because he's just really passionate.
@@curtismartin9054wtf
@@andynguyen8360I concur with your comment very much
@@curtismartin9054ignore the cry babies 😂 this was funny
@@andynguyen8360 I have no emotional connection to politics. I'm not an idiot.
I merely call it, like I see it.
Seems pretty dumb to do a pregame "war chant"... just to end up looking for a foul, when a man slaps you on the wrist too hard.
There's a time and a place for everything.
When I played sports I don't remember any choreography. I wonder if they have a dance instructor that comes in? Do they have a tik tok account?
I just love to see how they perform the Haka!!! ❤
Que fino! Más allá de cualquier resultado. Las tradiciones son fundamentales en el amor al gentilicio.
They managed to surprise usa in the first quarter with the haka's dance but after that as everyone predicted usa dominated the game
Brusnon like: "Cool, y'all still getting this L, tho." 😂😂
Big ups to the tall blacks keeping ther native roots alive ❤
Absolutely awesome and historic!!!!!!
This would be intimidating if they weren’t about to play a basketball game

9 years later they did it again 😂
It's a honor for them doing a haka In my country....
This is the beautiful thing about these Global Tournaments. The expression of different Cultures to the World audience.
Less Haka more Zone coverage.
Lol
Exactly! Had they just played the formation they were in at 0:09 of the video, the US would've only won by 6.

They did all that to get they ass whooped by our rookie player

The USA should respond with a crip walk! 😂😂
“And now the USA ready to perform THE HARLEM SHAKE”.
I love the expression of the culture…l also love the blank stares from the US team.
It's weird seeing this in a basketball court. Use to seeing this in Rugby when the Allblacks take on our boys the boks.
Congratulations on the victory to the U.S. of A., who leading up to this Haka have put in millions of hours of work against the best competition in the world since they were 4 years old.
Love that they did it. Great nod to their heritage. Not the most intimidating Haka I have ever seen.
My thoughts exactly. Rugby union haka is a bit scarier because they look like they would glass me at a pub for looking at them the wrong way.

I just love these young nba players. So mature and respectful. I would have been laughing my ass off. Thats exactly why they're in that great position and im not. But all seriousness, if i was in the NBA and had the great responsibility of being respectful and having class i would for sure do it with ease as i already live my life like that. I just think these dudes dont get enough credit for how composed they are on the national stage.
They're all really glad to play for usa

New Zealand does this with every sport and proceed to get blown out. 😂

Reason why they're not competitive is because God punishes them for this dance.
