It takes steel guts to play like this against Italy, a classic strong Italian team like the 2006 one would have eaten up this Spain walling with total defense and punishing with counters, this is exactly how Italy used to play, but this is NOT a classic Italian team, good job realizing that and having the courage to plan accordingly. But the best part of it all was seeing the players on the field laughing with and embracing each other, how correct the match was (yellow cards shown were all tactical fouls) and the absolute respect and joy of the sport. No matter the result, when this is the image you give the world you have already won. This is to prove that we may be adversaries on the field but we always love each other; it's heart warming to look around and see the same faces both in the pitch and on the stands

Belotti and Bernardeschi also shot great, so there's not much Unai could do in my opinion. Very sad about the outcome but still happy about how Spain played. We lacked some effectiveness in attack but I think we played a very solid match against a great team. If we had to go out I'm glad it was like this. Best of lucks to Italy and I really hope you can take the trophy home!

@@kheldaur2107 I think Jorginho executed the penalty great: he baited Unai perfectly and then shot out of he's reach. Belotti and Bernardeschi also shot great, so there's not much Unai could do in my opinion. And we can't forget that he basically took us to semifinals with his outstanding performance against Switzerland. The only player I didn't really like from the match was Thiago and maybe Oyarzabal.
