DAY 12 MOMENTS ✨
-Lots of shopping and shoe hunting! If you’re looking for New Balance shoes I recommend finding them in the Shinjuku station in Tokyo (finding sizes and style can be challenging) I went to 15 different ones to find the one I wanted on my last day.
-Osaka has the sweetest people ever! I met a friend here at Tendon Makino and she gave me so much great recommendations. We got set C + clam soup!
-Pro tip: if you are going for the massive tempura bowls you likely seen on instagram, go in the back door, that part of the restaurant only sells those bowls but the one I waited in line was at the front which does full menu, which usually has the massive queue. I was sad to find this out later.
-Shabuchin Namba Sennichimae / we wanted to try a hidden gem and it was a rainy and cold day so we felt like shabu shabu was the way to go. It was very different from the one in the states the broth was clear and they use it to cook the veggies, later we cook our wagyu and Kobe beef into the broth and it had two sauces for us to dip it in. One is a creamy nutty sauce and the other one was this tangy one. After our meal they brought out noodles and they would use our leftover broth to serve us this warm noodle dish. It gave us an authentic shabu shabu experience :) 7.8/10
